Ever thought you were born in the wrong era and fancy stepping back to a time when life was gentler and when women were elegant and so were the men? Well join Russell and Alex with pianist Grant, as we combine this amazing festival with a group of musically minded, mad people.

• With the backdrop of the magnificent Art Deco buildings, the beach and the Sound Shell, like a time machine we are transported back to the 1930’s!

• Musical Art Deco events include Roaring 20s, a dinner and dance premium event of the Tremains Art Deco Festival, the Festival Opera Romeo and Juliet an epic tale of star-crossed lovers; and 2 Operatunity concerts, The Great Gatsby at Mangapapa Hotel and The Dancing Years at Mission Estate Winery.

• We mix up our own special events presented by our artists singers Russell Dixon and Alex Foster and pianist Grant Winterburn with the local festivities, concerts, high tea parties and wine tastings.

• We stay at the 4.5 star Crown Hotel, overlooking the stunning waterfront in the historical seaside village of Ahuriri, with the sun, sea and landscape on your doorstep. You can wander, rest, revel, whatever you wish!

• A weekend which is a lovely blend of fun, music, socialising and dressing up with Napier’s Art Deco Festival and Operatunity combining in perfect harmony!

FRIDAY 16 FEBRUARY 2024 (HT, D) - Crown Hotel, Napier Highlights Include: • Welcome to Napier and to the incredible Tremains Art Deco Festival 2024.

• We check in with time to freshen up and relax.

• Vintage high tea at the Crown Hotel, perfectly suited for an elegant affair this afternoon.

• It’s time to party in true Deco style at the Roaring 20’s dinner and dance premium event of the Tremains Art Deco Festival.

SATURDAY 17 FEBRUARY 2024 (B, D) Highlights Include: • Time to enjoy the incredible Art Deco atmosphere. Dress up and experience with entertainment, antique fairs, bands, street stalls and a vintage car parade.

• Early dinner at the Hotel.

• Festival Opera Romeo and Juliet the epic tale of star-crossed lovers performed at the Municipal Theatre.

SUNDAY 18 FEBRUARY 2024 (B, L, D) Highlights Include: • A morning at leisure to lie in, wander the activities or go to the special Art Deco church service.

• The Gatsby Picnic will be the highlight of the week, where in elegant attire we mix with society’s elite, sip Earl Grey tea, partake of heavenly hampers under our canopy or parasols and listen to the antique gramophone.

• Dinner and our own exclusive concert at the Mangapapa Hotel entitled The Great Gatsby. Time to dress up, hurrah!

MONDAY 19 FEBRUARY 2024 (B, HT, D) Highlights Include: • Wine tasting at Craggy Range.

• A visit to Birdwoods Gallery and Sweet Shop with High Tea included and time to explore the gardens and gallery.

• Our own vintage car tour of Napier this afternoon plus a short Art Deco walking tour.

• Final night dinner and entertainment at Mission Estate Winery with The Dancing Years.

TUESDAY 20 FEBRUARY 2024 (B) This morning we have breakfast at the hotel before making our way to the airport for our flights home around New Zealand, full of wine, food and fantastic memories of our Art Deco Weekend.

GENTLE TOUR This tour will suit most people, even with a stick or a walker, but sorry not someone in a wheelchair. The activity level is gently paced, but you still need to be able to get on and off buses easily. There will be walking, but not a lot.

• Initial & Second deposits are fully refundable up until final balance due date, minus an administration fee of up to $500 plus any non-recoverable costs.

• All monies are non-refundable at final balance due date. This becomes an insurance claim.

• Payment by direct credit incurs no surcharge. Credit card payments will incur a surcharge of 1.5%.
