R.A. BROWN RANCH | A HALF-CENTURY OF HORSE SALES
A LEGACY THAT RIDES ON 50 years after their first horse sale, Rob & Peggy Brown's words still ring true.
FROM THE FIRST HORSE SALE
ROB & PEGGY BROWN
THE WORDS STILL HOLD TRUE. Fifty years ago, Rob and Peggy Brown welcomed buyers to the first R.A. Brown Ranch Quarter Horse Production Sale with the letter reproduced here. The names, the horses and the times have changed, but the purpose has not: breed useful, athletic, trainable horses with cow sense, soundness and the ability to do a job - and do it well. This sale carries special meaning as we disperse the remainder of Rob and Peggy's Quarter Horse herd. These horses represent decades of selection, use and belief in the kind of horse that helped build this ranch.
"...genetic blood lines, confirmation and athletic ability combined to produce Champions." - From the original sale letter
THEIR HERD. THEIR STANDARD. A LEGACY WE CARRY FORWARD.
