What You Have Made Possible

Back in 2018 when we first launched the AMD Fund, we set ourselves the target of raising HK$26m by the time the school turned 50 in 2026. Since then we have been fortunate enough to offer fourteen children from low income families a chance to attend Kellett on a bursary. In order to extend our impact we launched Outreach in 2022.

Kellett is entering our fourth Outreach, and in that time, grown from 35 students, to 1 This is testament to the dedic and generosity of our schoo students who attend Outreac nominated from NGOs in H Kong and as Director of Ou Danny Boyd explains, ‘Outre the favourite day of school f the children who attend’.

This progress wouldn’t have possible without the unwave support of our community. W so grateful and we cannot w see what we achieve in the coming year!

Kellett Charity Ball2025

On the 24th May 2025 at the Mira Hotel, the Kellett Charity Ball made a spectacular return! Our community came together to dance, dine, celebrate and most importantly raise money for the AMD Fund. This is a cause close to the hearts of many in the Kellett community, and we are so thrilled to have raised a recordbreaking HK$4.6 million!

All of this would not be possible without the generosity of the Kellett community We would like to say a special thanks to the Mira for its continued support as our venue sponsor, and to our exceptional senior student volunteers. The ball was organised by the dedicated Parents’ Committee, led by Ruchi Yea, Bianca Kirschner and Karen King and we are grateful to the team for all the time and effort they gave to ensure the Ball was the huge success it was!

We would also like to say a huge thank you to all our sponsors and donors who made the auction such a success Many of them are Kellett families and we are so grateful for their unwavering support. Together, we ’ re changing lives, and making a lasting impact.

Read,Raise, Repeat!

Kellett School’s curriculum enhancement fund K² (K Squared), supercharges the education and learning experiences of our students beyond the limits of the School’s operational budget. This year our Prep Students took part in a Read-aThon to raise money for K².

Our Read-a-Thon, an event organised and run by our Parents’ Committee, brought the students love of literacy to life Within Kellett’s prep curriculum, a large emphasis is placed on Literature and Reading and it is always such a joy when we can see that learning come to life

From the 4 - 16 February 2025, we challenged our Prep Students to read as many books as they could and record this in their Reading Log

Parents, friends and family were encouraged to sponsor the students for each book that they read, with all donations going to K² There was the added attraction of earning House Points, as well as a new collection of books for the class who raised the most amount of money.

We are so proud of all the students who took part and thank you to everyone who donated. We raised an amazing HKD$271,301 for K².

Christmas Spirit

Over the Christmas holiday season, we added a little bit of Kellett flair to our Christmas decorations, with the Kellett Christmas Bauble. The bauble was designed by our KLB Prep Art Teacher, Claire Lau, with all proceeds going to the AMD Fund for Outreach and Bursaries Thank you to everyone who bought a bauble, we raised HK$10,300. Keep a look out for next year ’ s.....

Scholars Give Back

A big cheer to Kellett Parent, Ruoyi Ma (Parent of Freya - Y2 PFL), who raised over HKD$10,000 via sponsorship for the Seoul Marathon. She ran in support of the AMD Fund for Bursaries and Outreach. Ruoyi finished the race with a time of 3 hours and 38 minutes A huge effort, thank you so much Ruoyi and thank you to everyone who donated.

We continue to see extraordinary generosity from the families of Kellett Scholars Nearly one third of whom donated their fee remission to provide a school place for another child or support Outreach. Your kindness and willingness to give back is truly inspiring Thank you for making a difference!
