Interior Drawing and Renderings Pencil and Watercolor I 2 Weeks A key building block to interior architecture is rendering interior spaces. So to start the semester we used water color and drawing techniques to render spaces and show materiality in spaces. I grew a lot in this aspect as before this I had never watercolored but now these are skills I’ll take with me throughout my career

I made a space for the Sioux tribe and their beliefs. The goals of this project were to make a small abstract worship area that worked with light and shadow and reflected the needs of the culture

Sioux Tribe Research The Sioux people believed that everything had a spirit and had a deep connection to the world around them. They believed in the Wakhan Thanks as the great spirit and there creator. They also had the belief that circles are scared as they common in our world. They would practice many different rituals throughout the year, many of which would involve there sacred pipe, a gift to them by the gods.

Final Concept Statement My final concept is the idea that a sacred pipe is used in many ceremonies, thus the building resembles a pipe, allowing in essence for it to be always there.

The pipe rests in circle of wood as circles are a uniting object and what intertwines us all and strengthens our community.

We had to make sure the coworking space fit in the parameters of the building and had a certain amount of spaces included as well. We also had to make a concept for this project and carry the concept throughout our design
