IGNORANCE

Description

1) The bystander effect is a common phenomenon nowadays when people’s first instinct is to take a photo or record an incident instead of actively help the victim.

2)Homelessness - people are being ignorant for others and their basic needs.

3) Blindness - the society is covering its eyes as much as it can in order not to see and notice the various social issues.

4) Ignorance can start at the very early stages, for example at school when one’s classmate is bullying someone and instead of standing up for this person one joins the bully out of fear.

5) Ignorance of not only the society but also victims themselves towards the seriousness of the situation and not taking any steps towards turning the aggressor in. The victim is silenced by fear. Silence loves violence.

SOCIAL PRESSURE

We are forced to be liked (beautiful, perfect…)

The reality strikes!

• Addiction

• Loneliness

• Depression

We are forced to be powerful

The reality strikes!

• Stressed

• Exhausted • Ignorant

We are forced to be a happy family

The reality strikes!

Abandoned

WE ABRUPTLY STOP AT EVERY, EVERY GLIMPSE OF A REAL CONNECTION BETWEEN OURSELVES, CAN I BE HONEST? OR WOULD THAT PART OUR WAYS FOREVER?

Image No. 1 - Superficial relationships

Image No. 3 - Utilitarian friendship

I can see the way I see myself

From every angle

I think that’s the real problem

I see through everyone’s eyes

For a blink of an eye

And I understand myself in my world

I just don’t understand myself in their worlds

All I do is look for connection

That’s all I longed for Every day of my weird life

I hate it when I don’t speak what I feel

I never realized I could look so

Unapologetic in other’s eyes

Cause I am, in a measured way Not really measured But more socially corrected

Image No. 6 - Moving forward

I thought I’m lost and alone I am, I just didn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel I see it now, The light, has your smell

Whose? You may ask, A true community.

PHOTOGRAPHIC TOUR

A MORNING THAT STARTS DIRECTLY WITH YOUR NUMBER 1 ADDICTION. BEFORE WAKING UP. BEFORE OPENING YOUR EYES.

AND CONTINUES DURING THE DAY, WITHOUT REALISING HOW MUCH TIME IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE BASIC TASKS FROM YOUR LIFE

YOUR BEAUTY IS BLENDED IN YOUR PROFILE.

YOUR HORMONES AND DESIRES BECOME PIXELS.

WHY STILL SEE YOURSELF WITHOUT A FILTER ON YOUR STORY?

LONELINESS IS A PART OF LIFE IF YOU SPEND IT ON YOUR PHONE.

SIMPLE CREATURES.

COMPLEX DIVICES.

LACK OF BALANCE.

THE END OF THE DAY. THE END OF YOUR ADDICTION. SEE YOU

Regional economical inequality

What does it represent?

It refers to the uneven distribution of the wealth, opportunities and resources across the various regions of a country due to the geographical and historical reasons.

Therefore, there are areas which are hugely developed from the economic and social point of view, with higher wages , good transportation and job opportunities, while in rural or suburban area people struggle more with poverty, unemployment and transportation exclusion.

It can occur in any country and could be the result of government’s social policies, investors leading to direct consequences such as lack of education and polarization across the society.
