External cleaning of textile ducts
ZeroWeave is a polyester fabric with a dirt-repellant plastic coating rendering the textile ducts easy to clean and maintain.
External washing or drying should be done carefully with a cloth, brush, etc. using cleaning agents normally used for floors, tables, etc.
Loose dust may be removed by vacuum cleaning or by air blowing.
Internal cleaning of textile ducts
Accumulations of dirt can be removed by turning the textile duct inside out and vacuum clean or wash it as mentioned above.
In exceptional cases machine washing may be preferred, however, the ZeroWeave material will wrinkle and subsequently lose its appearance. Before machine washing, the duct must always be turned inside out and any steel rings removed.
In case of machine washing, the programme for fine washing is recommended, i.e. prewash at max. 30°C followed by dripdrying. The machine may only be filled to about 1/3 of normal capacity.
NOTE!
Textile ducts with Ø48 mm Vario nozzles must be washed in a mesh laundry bag to avoid damaging the duct material.
