Sarah’s Vows Today, in front of our closest friends and family, I stand here and marr y my best friend. You are my par tner to do life with, and the one that I want beside me know matter what we face. You are my biggest cheerleader and toughest critic. The one who laughs with me, sometimes at me. My shoulder to cr y on, and the one who is always there to high five me in success. You are an amazing dad to our beautiful little Addy and our mad dog Millie, and above ever ything else, you are…the love of my life.

Little did I know, 6 years ago in the crew mess of a super yacht anchored in Miami, I was about to meet my soul mate and star t the adventure of my life. From there I fell head of heels in love with you, and have continued to do so ever since. I love you for so many reasons, some big and some small, all are equally special. I love how you never take yourself too seriously, you are dedicated, adventurous, and would do anything for those you love. Your sense of humour makes it hard for me to ever stay mad at you for long, and you know when to pull out those cheeky dimples when things get really serious. I’ve learnt with you that a disagreement isn’t always an argument. And that pretty much all things can be fixed with the right tools. While your approach to life is a little more calculated and systematic than my random spontaneous style, together we are the perfect match. You are self-driven to succeed in whatever you put your mind to, and I am so proud of the man you are, what you have achieved, and the life that we have created together.

Today I officially commit to our future as husband and wife. I promise that when you face challenges, we face them. I’ll stand beside you and we’ll tackle anything head on together. I will have your back and allow you to have mine, but will also give you the space to be your own person.

I promise to suppor t your goals and ambitions in life, even if we may differ on the best approach to reaching them.

I promise to take care of you when you’re sick or injured, although you are still banned from driving beach buggies in foreign countries.

I promise to love you when you’re hur ting, when you’re healing, when you’re broken and when you’re complete.

I promise to be honest to you, even though sometimes the truth may hur t.

And I will never lie to you about the big stuff.

I promise to be faithful to you no matter what state our relationship is in.

And above all…I promise to love you. In the great times, but more impor tantly I will love you in the really difficult times. On the days when life appears messy and darkness blurs our way. My love for you won’t fade away simply because we disagree. We both know sometimes life won’t be easy. We will face challenges, we will be frustrated, we will be human. But I will go to battle for you and I will choose you and us, ever y single day, for as long as I live.

Tris…in this life it is rare to find your soulmate, but in you…I have. In an ever-changing world – you are my cer tainty and I promise that I will love you with ever ything I can. It has been, and will always be ‘U&me’. I love you infinity + some.

I know I challenge you at times and frustrate you at others but you have always put ‘together’ first, U&me I love how no matter what happens we have always just been a team, both here for the long run. Its natural, like my soul wants for nothing more than you. You fill my hear t with joy and do the same to all those around you . I love your mature perspective on life whilst still embracing the inner child. You make me laugh, you challenge me like no one else, you comfor t me to no end, and occasionally you make me cr y You bring me the most fulfilling life anyone could wish for .

I promise to keep you on your toes, occasionally let you win at chess and keep you warm at night.

When you aren’t feeling so well, be it sickness or my driving, I will always comfor t you as best I can I will grow old beside you and continue to act young with you. You look so beautiful today, but know that you have always looked beautiful to me and will always be this beautiful to me. As gorgeous as you are right here and right now, I will only love you more and more each day.
