Dion’s vows Kristina, you look stunning today. Let’s hope I can get these words out better than the four words I tried to ask you in Queenstown last year. Who would have thought, thirteen years ago when we first met that you’d be calling that guy with the black Levin your Husband.

Driving home after our first date, I had that butterfly and excitement feeling. I wanted to see you again, I wanted to know more about you, and I wanted us to be a thing. I had a feeling, and it was a good feeling that’s for sure.

Fast forward five years, and here we are standing toe to toe, eye to eye, saying I do. Together we have an amazing life and I wouldn’t change it for the world. We’ve got beautiful friends and family surrounding us, the cutest cat possible and a place of our own we call home.

Kristina, you’re one of a kind, the girl of my dreams. You’re caring, outgoing, smart, you enjoy a day at the track, so. . . you tick all the boxes. And you’re good on the eye. Although you say and do some weird things at times, it’s who you are and I love you for it.

Kristina, I vow to be by your side through the good and the bad times. I vow to kiss you goodnight and good morning every single day. I promise I will be there to encourage you and to motivate you to achieve all the good things in life. I promise what’s mine is yours, aside from the Skyline and the Racing Sim but you know what I mean. I’m looking forward to what the future has in store for us and hope we have a little family of our own one day – let’s hope there’s a boy in there somewhere.

Kristina, from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer for poorer and in sickness and in health, I will be by your side and I will love you for the rest of my days of life.

Kristina’s vows Dion, I have been dreaming of this day my whole life. So I’ve been thinking, what would I tell that little girl who was wondering where life would take her, and who it was she would spend it with.

I would tell her to imagine the most wonderful, genuine and kind hearted person that she could.

Someone who is so incredibly selfless, and who will go out of his way to help anyone out. A person who would be able to slot so perfectly into her family, right from the very beginning. Someone who loves making the most of everyday we have and doesn’t let the excuse that it’s a work night, it costs too much money or it’s too far to go, get in the way of having a bit fun. Someone who is so dedicated to his work, his friends, his family, his CAR and every single thing he does in life. A person who is so patient, caring and gentle. And that Dion, is you.

You are one thousand times more amazing than that little girl could have ever dreamed of and I will be forever grateful of the perfect life we have created for us and our little Nismo. There is just one thing I will never understand… Why someone as near perfect as you, went for someone as weird and clumsy as me.

You made falling in love with you so easy. I feel so safe and loved by you, and I know you will always look after me. Everything just felt so familiar and right with you from the very beginning. In you I have found my best friend and the love of my life. The person I want to do everything with and I know that with you, life will never have a dull moment.

As today is finally the day where I get to call you my Husband - here are some promises I would like to make to you. I promise to always let you have a little time to play car games on the simulator even when we’re meant to be watching a movie. I promise to always try and cook you our favourite bangers and mash - even if it’s a bit too ‘well done’. I promise to always try and wipe the water up off the floor after my shower – even if it’s going to dry anyway. And most importantly, I promise to spend the rest of my life trying to make you as happy as you make me.

I can’t even begin to explain how I feel, knowing that I get to be with you everyday for the rest of my life – and I couldn’t be more excited to see what we’re going to get up to. I love you so much bud.
