We have come together to share in the celebration of Erica and Forbes’ marriage. We share with them in their happiness and their hope for the future. Marriage is the most important and sacred commitment two people can make to each other. Erica and Forbes are about to make this commitment based on their mutual love and understanding. In marriage two people are one. It is not the domination of one by the other, but exists for the benefit of both. It enables two people to share their desires, longings, dreams and memories, and to help each other through uncertainties. It provides the support and encouragement to risk more and thus gain more. In marriage we learn to give each other reassurance by the complete sharing of ourselves: physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.
