Celine and Shaun, today is a day of promises and hope, when you both speak words from the heart, and affirm your commitment to one another for life. You are taking the next step in your lives together – declaring not just to each other, but to the world, that this is the one person you will trust with all your heat, and want to spend the rest of your lives together.

Shaun’s vows

I, Shaun Peter Michael McCarthy, take you Celine Elizabeth Hendriks to be my wife.

This is the best day of my life - and not because of a party, or gifts, or even the company of all these people we love, but because it is the day that I will always remember. Today is the day that we become one.

I make a vow to you today not to be perfect or to expect perfection from you, but to always grow from every experience that we share.

It’s unbelievable that I get the chance to promise myself to the person i consider my greatest friend and loving ally in all things. I love you and will cherish you forever.
