The Plantation of the Arts
TRAVELS IN PARRALEL REALITY
Located at Thomson Nature Park is the site of an abandoned Hainan village that was once the home of a thriving community rich in culture.
All that remains now are the ruins of concrete walls, mossaic floor tiles and mossy walkways of the village, with its new inhabitants being the locally endangered Langur monkeys.
This project is meant to revive what has been abandoned in the village and amplify these activities into inhabitable spaces.

Langur’s Ledge is the first storey of the building, where people are able to get up close with as well as to learn about the locally endangered species of monkey.
Rambutan Ridge and Jackfruit Joint will be a place where people can indulge in the fruits that were commonly planted in the village.

Palace of Poetry is where visitors will be treated with performances as well as public reading of poetry, something that Mr han was very fond of.

Ceramic Crawl Space is where people are able to make their own pottery.
Finally, Artwork Apartments is at the top of the building, where people are able to create art in a tranquil environment.

The Resourceful Water Filtration Plant
THE GENIUS IN NATURE
Long ago, there was a great environmental tragedy that nearly wiped away the entire population of these dwellings.
Thankfully, with their ability to adapt to the rapidly changing environmental conditions, there was a fraction who survived the disaster.
These survivors dedicate the rest of their days to educating others as well as their young about this tragedy and how to prevent a possible extinction of their kind from happening again.
The Resourceful Water Filtration Plant

Located at Labrador Park, this building acts as both a public amphitheatre and gallery as well as a water filtration plant. There are also balconies dedicated to small agricultural spaces.

Industry Projects
BAMBOO MODELS & ST JOHN DEMENTIA CARE CENTER
We were tasked to create a small scaled bamboo model, basing its design on an existing building of our choice.
The St John Dementia Care Center is going to undergo renovations to expand its operations. We were tasked to design the new interior with the given limitations and taking the methods of caring for patients into consideration.
Experimenting with Bamboo

My design is based on the Supertrees at Gardens By The Bay. Using various methods such as heating the bamboo to allow it to bend, I was able to recreate the iconic shape of the structure.

Care Center
My new design featured an open concept on all floors, with subtle visual zoning as well as additional care facilities such as a multi sensory room on all floors.

Internship Work
THE CYBERPOD IN THE METAVERSE
The Cyberpod in the Metaverse
My company was given the opportunity to design explorable and inhabital spaces that allows players in the metaverse to view, purchase and display NFTs within the space.

The client wanted a Science Fiction theme for the CyberPod.
