Ji Youn Lee began playing at the age of five. Her numerous succcesses in piano competitions include top prizes in New England Conservatory Concerto competition, Jacob Filer Piano competition, Ewha Kyounghyang Music competition, Korea Chopin Competition. She has appearances in solo recitals and concert series at many concert venues in United States and South Korea such as Jordan Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and Seoul Arts Center. Ji Youn is also activate as an avid Chamber musician. Her quintet was the youngest semi-finalist at Osaka International Chamber Music Competition. They were selected as the first group of goodwill artists on aiding Cambodian refugees. In addition to her studies, she has participated in Piano summer at New Paltz, Orford Music Festival, Bowdoin Festival and Dino Ciani Festival. She studied her undergraduate at New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Dang Thai Son and HaeSun Paik and currently she is pursuing her master degree at The Juilliard School.
