SCHOOL - the best days of your life!
Hi! My name is Priyana Parmar and I work as part of the KCS Professional Services team as a Digital Marketing Assistant.
What was your favourite lesson at school?
My favourite lesson at school was definitely
Art & Design. A great subject for me to explore my creativity through fine art, ceramics, photography and textiles. At the end of every school year, we would showcase our work in an exhibition organised by the school where friends, family and teachers would attend to celebrate our hard work… It was great fun!
What was your best memory from school?
My best memory from school would be
sports day! The whole school would come together and compete in a number of fun & challenging activities. It would always be a hot summers day, teachers would get involved, friends making memories together… just an allround great atmosphere, right the way up from primary to secondary school. I now understand why my parents always told me to enjoy school whilst you can, they really are the best days of your life! What do you think about the way school is changing?
We all know the last year has been turbulent and has put us all in a situation none of us ever imagined.
Schools in particular have been impacted massively by the global pandemic. I’m sure as a child looking back, I would have been very happy with some extra days off school, but I also feel massively for all the students, teachers and parents who’s school years and memories have been impacted by this.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to use my creative abilities elsewhere, this mainly involves experimenting with baking and learning new food recipes from different regions. I also love to exercise and participate in long distance walking, music, shopping and travelling.
