THE ENVIRONMENT We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and hold ISO 14001:2015 certification to reflect this.

RECYCLING SERVICES

In our commitment to improve our green footprint we have developed a ‘Go Green. Go Digital’ initiative. As part of this we are going paper-light in our office and are encouraging our customers to access our publications on our website.

Every year countless packaging ends up in landfill sites across the world.

We have teamed up with TerraCycle to put an end to this enormous loss of resources. The Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme allows us to recycle our crisp packets and prevent them from ending up in landfill. Not only are we helping the environment, but the waste we recycle also helps TerraCycle to fund schools.

PLASTIC-FREE PRODUCTS We are all aware of the impact that plastic is having on our environment, which is why we are looking to work more and with suppliers who are finding alternative manufacturing methods. We have products made from N GR EE recycled milk bottles and have recently introduced a sugar cane toy range – keep a look out for what comes next!

GO ELECTRIC With the UK government pledging to cut carbon emissions by 80% by 2050 we will see the rise of electric vehicles.

GREEN At KCS we have our own electric vehicle charging point for our staff to make use of, GREEN N are also consulting GREEand with many of our customers to see how we can help them do the same.

There are a number of steps DIGITAL that G O O N L I N E we have taken to help lessen our environmental impact, from using GREEN G E T DIGITAL recycled paper in our catalogues and recycling all our cardboard and polythene, to harvesting rain water to flush our toilets and using motion sensor LED lighting to save energy.
