Fire extinguishers are essential, so selecting the correct type of extinguisher and keeping it maintained is an absolute priority. It is a requirement of British Standards BS5306 that fire extinguishers are serviced by a competent person at least annually. A regular planned visit by one of our engineers will prolong the life of your extinguishers and ensure that vital fire safety equipment remains ready for instant use. We will be happy to carry out a survey of your premises and provide a full quotation.

Fire Risk Assessment/Review
A fire risk assessment is essential to identify fire hazards and to evaluate, remove or reduce, and protect you from risk. We offer a comprehensive assessment which is fully documented and covers all the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, including identifying the risks and persons at risk, controls in place, warning system, means of escape and fire fighting equipment.

Inspection and testing of Portable Electrical Appliances (PAT)
It is recommended that all Portable Electrical Appliances are regularly inspected and tested by a competent, qualified engineer in order to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and to ensure safety.
Our PAT Inspection provides:
Minor repairs, adjustments, supply and fitting of plugs and correctly rated fuses.
An itemised inventory of tested appliances issued on completion.
Peace of mind provided by our annual maintenance contract.
Tree Safety Standards & Inspections
To minimise the risk of damage or injury caused by trees and to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, a non-invasive visual Tree Safety Inspection is recommended to identify any work that may need to be carried out.
Our Tree Inspection provides:
A report listing those trees with notable defects, recommended tree surgery work and estimation of costs as well as an advised risk assessed time scale to complete any work.
Play and Fitness Equipment Inspections
It is recommend that an inspection of all internal and external gym apparatus, fixed play or fitness equipment should be carried out by an independent, qualified and competent safety inspector at least once a year, to comply to the relevant EN & BS safety standards.
