Robust, reliable and easy to read bench milliammeters, which come with a low power consumption LCD display, resulting in less frequent changing of batteries.

Lascells Digital Signal Generator, Amplified

A simple to use quality signal generator, with amplified output and LCD display. Suitable for use with loudspeakers, vibration generators, resonance tubes etc. Frequency range: 0.1 Hz to 100k Hz.

Lascells Doppler Ball

An exciting way to demonstrate the doppler effect. The 100 mm ‘ball’ contains a coin cell battery powered buzzer inside (coin cell not included) and can be safely whirled round in a large horizontal circle to demonstrate the Doppler effect.

Lascells Mini Ripple Tank

Compact apparatus for students to investigate properties of waves. Completely self-contained, requiring no setting-up apart from the addition of water, and incorporates a builtin stroboscope to allow viewing of stationary or slowly moving waves.

Lascells Space Tube

A compact, quality version of the traditional Bell in a Bell Jar experiment, to show that sound waves do not travel through a vacuum. Audible sound output from a piezo buzzer decreases to nothing as the tube is evacuated (vacuum pump required).

Lascells

Revolution PSU Variable

The Precision Variable PSU has continuously variable voltage output and is a switch-mode PSU (no transformer), with the output being smoothed & regulated. The small footprint allows 4 units to fit into a shallow Gratnells tray.

Lascells Switched PSU MKII

The mid-range Switched MKII power supply has switched (set) voltage outputs and is a transformerbased PSU, with the output being smoothed but not regulated. The small footprint allows 4 units to fit into a shallow Gratnells tray.

Lascells Revolution PSU Switched

The Precision Switched PSU has switched (set) voltage output, and is a switch-mode PSU (no transformer), with the output being smoothed & regulated. The small footprint allows 4 units to fit into a shallow Gratnells tray.

Lascells Economy Switched Power Supply

The mid-range Economy Switched power supply has switched (set) voltage outputs and is a transformerbased PSU, with the output being smoothed but not regulated. The small footprint allows 4 units to fit into a shallow Gratnells tray.

Lascells Battery Eliminator, 2 Amp

A lightweight, compact power supply, designed for use as a battery replacement. Output: 1.5V, 3V, 4.5V, 6V, 9V, 12, max current 2 A.

Lascells Adjustable Mini Power Supply, 2 Amp

A lightweight, compact alternative to traditional batteries or larger lab. power supplies, with variable voltage (0-12 V), max current 2 A. A variable output version of a Battery Eliminator.

Lascells Energy Meter

An Energy Meter, providing an allin-one solution to teaching specific heat capacity, with measurements in the following ranges: Voltage 0200 V DC; Current 0 - 10 A; Power 0 - 1200 W; Temperature -9 - 99 0C

Lascells 'g' by Free Fall

Use with the Lascells millisecond timer to calculate acceleration due to gravity. The timer starts when the ball bearing is released and stops when the ball bearing hits the impact plate.

Lascells Millisecond Timer

A fully functional easy to use millisecond timer, which has a clear, 4 digit LED display. Also suitable for use with the Lascells 'g' by free fall apparatus and the Lascells light gate.

Lascells Gravity Well

Exciting apparatus which allows students to visualise the attraction of massive objects due to gravity and to help show how solar systems are formed, how gravity can bend the paths of light, and more.

Lascells Compact Ramp Kit

This compact ramp kit allows dynamics to be studied on a smaller scale, for demonstrations or student groups, and includes 5 different surfaces providing varying degrees of friction. Replacement packs of surfaces are also available.

Lascells Gyroscope Wheel

This large Gyroscope Wheel gives a memorable demonstration of precession, angular momentum, and torque, and can be paired with the Lascells Rotary Table for the classic conservation of angular momentum demonstration.

Lascells Digital Jolly Bulb Apparatus

A perfect alternative to the traditional Jolly bulb and analogue gauge, for demonstrating the relationship between temperature and pressure. Pressures can be read directly from the digital display.

Lascells Planck's Constant Apparatus

Determine the approximate value of Planck's constant (h) with this quality apparatus, which utilizes a range of LEDs of known wavelength, which are selected in turn and the applied voltage varied. Using simple calculations, an estimate of Planck’s constant may be made.

Lascells Digital Boyle's Law Apparatus

A self-contained, reliable and simple way of demonstrating Boyle's Law. Volume is adjusted using the 2.5ml syringe connected to a pressure sensor on the front panel and the signal is then scaled to kPa on the digital display.

Lascells Cloud Chamber

The perfect alternative to the unreliable, dry ice versions typically used in schools, for visualising ionised particles from alpha radiation. The chamber is selfcontained and thermoelectrically cooled, (requires no dry ice) - tracks should be visible within 10 minutes.

Lascells Rubens' Tube

A 1-metre long welded steel Rubens' Tube, providing a dramatic visual presentation of sound waves. The gas flame waveforms vary in height and wavelength, depending on the input frequency from any amplified audio source e.g. a signal generator. Requires natural or bottled gas.

Lascells Thermistor System

Apparatus providing a simple and effective method to investigate the properties of a thermistor. The NTC bead thermistor is enclosed in a sealed glass tube, with a conducting compound to provide good thermal contact with the surroundings, and two 4 mm flying leads for electrical connection. Nominal resistance is 4.7k Ohms.
