Our shelving systems and additional furniture are crafted from high-grade materials such as CR4 quality steel, certified hardwoods, recycled metals, and eco-friendly laminates. These materials not only offer superior strength and durability but also contribute to environmental sustainability. Our hardwoods are sourced from responsibly managed forests, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
Gresswell works with suppliers who are members of the Furniture Industry Sustainability Program (FISP) run by FIRA. Recyclable materials are used where possible in our products. We also offer maintenance products and spares to upgrade/update our products rather than forcing disposal.
In addition to ISO14001, our policy is to eliminate, reduce, reuse, recycle, recover, and dispose of, as appropriate, minimising waste to landfill. We comply with the Waste & Packaging Regulations 2007.

Idsall School approached Gresswell as they were in need of a complete library re-vamp. Describing their old library as ‘cluttered, ‘dingy’ and ‘outdated’, they wanted a new modern style. Cwmbran Library’s £427,000 transformation has created a brighter, more flexible and communityfocused space. The redesign introduces agile study areas, a teen zone, a health and well-being hub, and Hublet tablets for digital access. Flexible Everna™ Motion shelving supports quick reconfiguration for events and daily use, while improved sightlines enhance accessibility.
