VENDOR SPOTLIGHT Why should you hire a planner/coordinator? A wedding day goes by fast, having someone to assist you allows not only yourself, but your family and friends to enjoy your big day. We are there to make sure everything runs smoothly and you can focus solely on enjoying your day. Not only do we provide seamless timelines, setup assistance, and vendor management, but also peace of mind and a friend to call when you need help!

Biggest tip for your big day? With all the excitement, it is easy to feel as though your big day ﬂies by. I always tell my couples to take 15 seconds at random times throughout their day to pause, take in everything that is happening around them, and enjoy the moment. It is so special to look around you and see people you love celebrating you.

I believe that one of the ﬁrst things a couple should work on is their budget! It is crucial to look at your budget from the start, that way you know what your goal range is for each vendor. That being said, I also suggest that couples each pick one vendor category that they care about the most. These two categories are the two vendors that it is okay to add a little extra budget for.

Why did I start Crystal Moments? In 2020, I was hospitalized for a month after losing feeling in my left leg following a spine surgery. During this time I had lots of down time to think through what my goals were. Constantly thinking about my passion to help others, love for event planning, and how important it is to enjoy both the big and small moments in life, I decided to make it my goal to open my own event planning company. I knew how much physical work goes into decorating for and working events, so I made it my goal that when I could walk 3 miles and move 50 pound boxes I would start living my dream. After 6 long months of physical therapy I reached my goals and the next day I submitted the paperwork to start Crystal Moments. Now I get to help the best individuals and couples celebrate their key milestones in life. I love working with couples to make sure that their day runs smoothly and that they can be fully present on their wedding day, as well as their family and friends. My goal for this company is to always ﬁnd ways to make my clients' big day special and for every client to feel that they have a friend to call throughout the process that knows the industry and actively wants to help.

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT Elysian Fields is a family-run establishment whose main goal is to be as helpful and accommodating to every client in order to provide a stress free and memorable experience for every event.

Describe some of the prominent property features of Elysian Fields. Elysian Fields is located 30 minutes east of Kansas City on 200 acres of rolling hills and vast ﬁelds. The main structure houses a 3,000 sq ft reception space that accommodates up to 200 guests. With high vaulted ceilings and two large black wrought iron crystal chandeliers, it provides a grand and elegant space for any event. It also has a separate wing that holds a luxury bridal suite, groom's suite, bridal party lounge, and more. The grounds also contain a picturesque outdoor stone ﬁreplace, a large, covered patio and bar, 3 tier fountain and waterfall features, a willow tree rock garden, and our brand-new open-air ceremony structure.

How do you want couples to feel when they come to Elysian Fields? We want clients and visitors at our facility to feel at ease and welcome. To make every client feel special, we strive to reach above and beyond and to exceed their expectations. 20

What is included in the venue rental? Each booking comes with a variety of additional amenities. We include event staff and day-of coordination for every event. Set up and clean up services. A variety of different size tables, linens, and black steel Chiavari chairs. Golf cart access in order to take pictures and video around the property. A fully equipped kitchen which includes a commercial oven/stove, warmer, ice machine, refrigerators, etc. You also have access to a variety of decor items which includes lanterns, vases, greenery, arbors, silk ﬂower arrangements, drapery, easels, card boxes, and table numbers. Customers have access to the venue from 8am-12am and can schedule a 1-hour rehearsal for the week leading up to the event.

I began my journey in the wedding photography world twelve years ago and have grown to love this industry more and more with each passing season. While Melissa focuses her time on newborn and family photography, I lead the wedding side of our studio alongside two amazingly talented photographers, Mariah and Louise. What is the most important thing to you about your job as a wedding photographer?

How would you describe your photography style?

It’s not a job we take lightly. First and foremost, we want to make sure our couples look and feel their best. We will guide you through every click of the camera with posing direction and attention to the smallest of details. Most importantly though, we recognize that these are the photos that capture the moments of one of the biggest days of your life. These photos will be passed down for years to come and will hopefully become treasured family heirlooms.

Timeless. When you look back at your wedding photos in ten, twenty, or ﬁfty years, we want them to look as classic and timeless as they did the day you received them. We love images that are bright and crisp, with an editing style that shows true color.

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT What are some of your basic norms regarding soft play set ups that we should know before booking? No shoes. No food, drinks, or sweets. No face paint. No glitter or slime. No pets. No water. Children should be supervised at all times.

What facilities and amenities are provided at a soft play party venue? Soft play party venues usually offer a range of amenities, including dedicated play areas with soft play equipment, seating areas for parents or guardians, party rooms for food and celebrations, and restroom facilities. Some venues may also provide additional services, such as party decorations or catering options.

How can I book a soft play party for my child? To book a soft play party, you can contact the business directly via the booking site. Information will be provided on available dates, party packages, and pricing. It's advisable to book in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

If you’re hoping for a Welcome Party (the night before nuptials!), engagement party or bachelor/bachelorette party with more of a cocktailing atmosphere, we’re perfect for 100 – 150!

What all does Three Points offer to couples? Our rooftop space, located in the heart of the Power and Light District, boasts breathtaking views of Downtown Kansas City. Tell us what makes Three Points unique. Three Points is located on the rooftop of a piece of KC history! Built in 1925, this historic six-story building was home to Lowe & Campbell -- a local sporting goods company that later merged with Wilson Sporting Goods. So it works in perfect synergy that Three Points is now operated by us – Argyle Events by Sporting KC! With its unobtrusive entrance, you can almost think of Three Points as a Speakeasy in the sky. The “wow factor” that comes from walking off the elevator and into a room with our expansive views is really impactful!

What is one detail you’ve seen some couples implement that others NEED to hear about? Seated dinners are getting a little tired! We’re seeing a lot of weddings opt for smaller reception stations that allow guests to taste a lot of different foods. These stations serve foods in smaller portions, which also allows your guests to circulate with their food – rather than plopping down and eating for an hour. It’s a fresh way to approach a wedding reception and it promotes mingling, mixing and FUN! One of the advantages of booking with us is that we are also the preferred caterer and sole bar provider! So we can be a one-stop shop, but are also happy to work with a catering company of your choice on food selections.

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT What kind of bar experiences can you provide? We can bring our vintage 1988 converted mobile bar horse trailer if room and the weather allows. It is a charming addition to a barn wedding, garden or outdoor reception area, and people are delighted by the aesthetic of it. We have turned the trailer into various themes: a tiki bar, garden bar, hot cocoa bar and more. As a designer, the owner Kristi loves to create unique and playful menus and dress the trailer to match. Whether sophisticated or rustic, we can coordinate with any wedding or event theme. We also have linen bar tables we can set up or we can use a venue's bar. In cold weather or for smaller affairs this allows us to complement the overall decor of the event and gives us plenty of room to serve drinks.

How long have you been in business? We launched our mobile bar horse trailer at a bridal show in February of 2023. Since that time we've done numerous public events and weddings. We've served thousands of people, crafted some delicious cocktails and mocktails, obtained a catering license and learned so much the past year. 30

What can a bride and groom expect if hiring you to serve at their wedding? Personalized menu creation: We work to understand the types of ﬂavors you like and then provide many ideas for signature drinks and a unique, well-rounded menu. Attention to details: From drink garnishes to signage to pretty cups and overall bar aesthetic, we work hard long before your event to meticulously plan everything we need to do. We handle everything: Since we are liquorlicensed in Kansas, we bring everything needed to serve your guests and clean up after ourselves when the event is over. You can relax with your guests and have a good time, and let us take care of one of the focal points of any special occasion... the bar!

We got engaged right after I graduated from university in 2021. We decide to wait two years to tie the knot and, boy, did time fly by. We both decided to go for a lux/floral wonderland theme. We had a love for roses and our decorator made our dream come true with the beautiful arrangements. Our wedding day was filled with tears of happiness, love, and blessings. After receiving our blessing by Father Michael, we felt relieved that all of the work we had done was finally complete. We are very grateful for every single person who helped make our dream come true. Our love story is only the beginning of our beautiful journey!
