Welcome to Parsons Cattle Company’s First Annual Bull Sale! We are delighted to have you join us, whether in person or online – we sincerely thank you for taking the time to take part in sale day. Firstly, and most importantly, we would like to extend our utmost gratitude to each buyer who has supported us through our previous years of private treaty sales from the farm. We truly could not do this without the support of our customer base. Thank you for trusting in our program and providing us with some of the most amazing business relationships! We would also like to thank our family for help here & there throughout the year, Chase and Makenzie Bennett for clipping bulls, Jon Wright for his picturing patience and marketing expertise, Kailey Wirsta for designing our catalogue, the VJV team and our fellow beef producers for the countless conversations surrounding the animals we all share a similar passion for. On offering this year, we feel we have a fantastic set of yearling bulls. The performance bulls are sired by FLC Wheat King 4G and HVA High Roller 772H. Wheat King, our senior herd sire, impresses from every angle. The sons on offer display fantastic depth of body, an extra shot of length, heavy bone structure from top to bottom, carrying an impressive amount of muscle, with a disposition second to none. The daughters at home, and the ones we sold this fall, appear remarkable, and we cannot wait to have these ladies in production. High Roller carries the same attributes we love about Wheat King. Excellent foot, oodles of hair, muscle tone & attractive front end. Sons from these sire groups are sure to have progeny that will push down the scale on your calf crop come weaning day. We also have a solid set of calving ease bulls, majority sired by TAC Jag 78J, who has provided our first calvers maximum calving ease, while still preforming good, as they grow like weeds. The small head, smooth shoulder, excellent vigour, and curly hair coat are just some of his best attributes that you can feel comfortable with turning into those heifer and second calver pens. You will also come across 2 sons from PAR Jeopardy 16J and HC Jägermeister 160J, both of these bulls bring calving ease and maternal strength to the table. The bulls are fed a TMR mixed ration with barley & oat silage, hay and designed bull ration from Country Junction Feeds, keeping a balanced diet and longevity in mind. The bulls will be available at VJV Auction Mart Monday morning for viewing prior to the sale. Bulls can also be viewed anytime prior to sale day, at the farm. Sincerely,

TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. BIDDING: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures. BREEDER’S GUARANTEE:
Should any bull fourteen (14) months of age or over fail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeders, the matter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six (6) months following the date of purchase or six (6) months after the bull has reached fourteen (14) months of age. The seller will have the right and privilege of six (6) months to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen collected from the bull will freeze. EXCEPTION GUARANTEE: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION:
Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. RIGHTS & OBLIGATIONS:
The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale. PURCHASER’S RISK:
Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. All animals left with the seller must be insured. ACCIDENTS:
Although everyprecaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers and spectators, neither Parsons Cattle Company, VJV Auction, the auctioneer, sale staff or Wright Livestock Marketing sale management assumes no responsibility in the matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of an accident or loss of property.
