Mallow – Borough Market

Mallow is a 100% vegan restaurant (with a separate gluten free menu) that blew us away with their creative menu and beautiful interior. Mallow serves various dishes such as truffle porcini French toast, apple cinnamon pancakes with date butter, “chicken” burger and much more! Our favourites were the roast pumpkin and labneh on sourdough, and the truffle porcini French toast – this is definitely one to try, even if you are not vegan!

All That Falafel - Long Lane, London Bridge

The best falafel in London has two branches – one in Long lane and one near the London Bridge post office, so there’s no excuse if you haven’t tried it! The medium wrap is £4.45 and is packed full of falafel, veggies and hummus. It’s also 100% vegan, so suitable for (most) dietary needs! The staff are super friendly and they even give out free falafel for you to try. This is one of our favourite spots to get lunch – cheap, fast and super tasty!

Bao - Borough Market

Bao is a stone’s throw from the main market and serves up fluffy Taiwanese baos with various fillings including beef shortrib, prawn shia song, chicken nugget, and a milk tea ice cream bao. Our favourites are the prawn shia song and milk ice cream bao. Despite the name, Bao also does larger dishes, such as the 40 day Aged Beef Taipei Butter Rice, so don’t worry, you’ll leave with a full (and happy) stomach!

White Mulberries - Hay's Galleria

Looking for an aesthetic brunch spot with a great sweet and savoury selection? Look no further – white mulberries serves up an amazing spread! Top of our sweet list is the banana bread with various toppings – you can get mascarpone, pecan, agave etc. on your banana bread. Top of our savoury list is the prosciutto and burrata on sourdough. The savoury portions are HUGE!

Borough Market Stalls

In Borough Market, you are honestly spoiled for choice. Our favourites are the pulled pork burger from Hobbs Roast, the wrap from Gourmet Goat, the Cheese toastie from Kappacasein, kaya toast from Mei Mei, and sausage rolls from the Black Pig.
