Completed by the Kansas City Design Center in collaboration with the Kansas City, Missouri Department of Planning, this is the third part (of 3) of the comprehensive publication for the 2019-2020 academic year focused on the East Bottoms of Kansas City, Missouri. The East Bottoms Vision study is a design investigation of an industrial area that aims to repurpose residual infrastructural space through the creation of a continuous public right of way and a perspective to rethink industrial landscapes towards a more inclusive mixed use environment that addresses issues of urban resilience.
