WHAT IS A VERTEBRAL SUBLUXATION?

Simply put, it is a spinal bone that has shifted out of place... when left uncorrected this can cause damage to the spinal joints and negatively affect the function of your nervous system.

sleeping wrong,

ondary conditions include:

Did you know... vertebral subluxations can be caused by every day impacts from sports, slips and falls, poor posture, computer use and texting? Dangerous spinal shifts can also be caused by car accidents, a difficult child birth for mom or baby, sleeping wrong, work injuries, physical abuse and emotional stress. Secondary conditions include:

HEADACHES - COLIC - NECK PAIN - ADHD/ADD

DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS - ALLERGIES - ASTHMA

CARPAL TUNNEL - LOW BACK PAIN - TORTICOLLIS

TIGHT MUSCLES - VERTIGO - LOW ENERGY/FATIGUE

CHRONIC EAR INFECTIONS - MIGRAINES - SCIATICA

POSTURE IS A WINDOW TO THE SPINE

Abnormal spinal shifts (subluxations) can happen at any age, but the developing spine of a child is especially susceptible to loss of the ideal neck alignment due to prolonged use of cell phones and computers. Chiropractic care may be able to help restore alignment and reduce tension on the nervous system through specific chiropractic adjustments. Screen your family’s spine at home using the posture card to the right.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Participant stands with feet shoulder width apart, toes parallel and then closes eyes and nods head back and forth twice, bringing head back to middle. Keep eyes closed for ten seconds while observer checks shoulder and hip levels.

Observer stands facing the participant and lightly places index fingers on top of participant’s shoulders in order to note which shoulder is higher. Then place index fingers on top of participant’s hips and note which hip is higher. Finally, assess for anterior head carriage - view participant from the side and note ear placement relative to shoulder. Mark on diagram. Schedule an in-office chiropractic exam if distortions noted.
