Hopkinton Middle High School

The Hopkinton School District is seeking a full-time night custodian, forty (40) hours a week year-round, however, during the summer months candidate will work the day shift, forty (40) hours a week. Night custodian starting pay would be $19.37 an hour, and if working the day shift, the starting pay would be $18.45 an hour. No experience necessary will train.

This position is unionized and offers health/ dental insurance, sick/personal/vacation and holiday pay, NH Retirement System, and Life and Long-Term Disability insurance.

Duties will include year-round road maintenance and construction, light and heavy equip- ment operation/maintenance, grounds keeping, and varied public works tasks as assigned. This is a non-exempt, overtime eligible position. Availability for snow plowing and other emergencies outside of regular work hours is required. Me- chanical aptitude/experience is a plus. Previous experience driving rear load trash trucks preferred, but not required. Candidates should be friendly and comfortable interacting with customers. They should also be able to work independently and in all weather conditions. This job requires driving and picking the trash, there is no picker. Candidates must also have some flexibility in scheduling as our schedule varies depending on the route, start time is 7am.
