The NJPA Foundation Board of Trustees is in need of donations in order to sustain itself and continue to fulfill its mission and objective.

Mission: In addition to supporting the New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA) mission, the mission of the Foundation is promoting the psychological health of the diverse people of New

Jersey.

Objective: To support education and research that advances the skills of psychology students, whose studies focus on treating the well-being of underserved populations throughout New

Jersey. The NJPA Foundation relies almost exclusively on individual donations to support its mission and objective. Past, positive stock market returns allowed the Foundation's reserves to grow and we were able to disperse funds at a greater rate than in recent years. Consequences resulting from the COVID19 pandemic, and drops in the stock market, resulted in a decrease in grant/award funds available to disperse. The NJPA Foundation is in immediate need of donations in order to support the essential training of future psychologists who are dedicated to working with the most vulnerable individuals. Without additional donations, the Foundation faces uncertainty in its ability to continue the work toward its mission and its objective.
