KBIC Participates in the 2026 Healing Circle Run/Walk The annual Healing Circle Run/Walk continues to bring communities together in prayer for healing. Rooted in the teaching that healing begins within each individual and extends outward to our families, communities, nations, and ultimately Aki (Mother Earth). Each year, participants travel a route connecting ten Ojibwe reservations across northern Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota over the course of seven days, with the journey concluding at the Lac Courte Oreilles

This year, the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community proudly joined the Healing Circle Run/Walk with more than 40 participants.
