Ages 6-36 months. Parent(s) must participate in the water with the infant. This class teaches underwater acclimation while parents learn how to give their child a positive experience in the water. Preschool 10:35-11 a.m. $10/20 Alaia/Emerald Preschool 1 3 to 5 year olds who are new to the water will develop comfort in the water, learn water entry, bubble blowing, floating, kicking, underwater exploration and general water safety skills. Touch the Earth Trip Descriptions Adventure Sports Fort Yargo Adventure Weekend Sign up quickly to take part in a fun first weekend of school. This pick and choose weekend of activities includes geocaching, canoeing & kayaking, swimming and day hiking. Camp lakeside and eat s’mores around the fire. If you have a mountain bike, consider an early morning ride on one of the many easy mountain bike trails. Includes fees, transportation, camping equipment, activity equipment and leadership. Jennifer Pecoraro & John Toulme Rock Climbing 101 We’ll take you to a popular rock climbing destination and stir up some awesome climbs to test your outdoor climbing ability and learn new skills. Climbing Club Leaders Fly Fishing This trip is on a small stream for hands-on instruction in fly casting, fishing strategies, knot tying and an introduction to insects, tools and techniques. Philip Strate Ziplining & Nantahala Rafting Experience the exhilarating thrill of rafting this gorgeous North Carolina whitewater river on a one day trip.The 8.5 mile run in a beautiful gorge is enjoyable for beginners and veteran rafters. Or join us for a two day ziplining and rafting trip in the gorge combined with scenic hiking. Enjoy 11 total zips over a half mile expanse of the gorge followed by a sunset hike and dinner atop a gorgeous mountain. The next day we’ll raft the river. Philip Strate Arabia Mountain Path (AMP) Biking This bike ride combines the scenic beauty of two granite monadnocks – Panola and Arabia Mountain. Ocoee Rafting This Class IV whitewater river in Tennessee is the most action-packed in the Southeast. Expect to get wet and experience a wild ride as you work as a team. This is a river with five miles of constant whitewater intensity, waves and solid fun. Middle Section. Includes transportation, leadership, river guides, equipment and lunch. Lead Climbing

Experienced climbers may lead climb routes during normal hours. You must follow the designated lead route. Ask about a Lead Climbing Certification Clinic to certify or challenge out. You must be belay certified for at least six months or prove significant experience. Bouldering Cave

The cave has both vertical and horizontal overhanging terrain. Any skill level may use it in a “no ropes� bouldering format. It is located across from racquetball court #4 adjacent to the Climbing Wall. Check in with the Climbing Wall attendant.

Focus is on creative problem solving and effective communication. The experience will increase trust and enhance group cohesion. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of the group. Location Sites vary depending the group’s preference. Groups may choose facilities and grounds from our our ropes course at Indian Creek Recreation Area, the downtown campus or off-campus locations. Reservations Complete online reservation. Reserve date and make payment at least one month in advance. Confirm all details two weeks in advance. A minimum of a 10 person charge is required but larger or smaller groups are easily accommodated. Sessions may range from two hours to half-day or a full day. Full day cost Up to $35 per GSU student.
