Meet the Cast and Crew Tammy Bailey It is a privilege to volunteer as a cast member in this show and I thank those responsible for casting me. Having performed in several Senior Reader shows, my favorite being “The World Goes Round,” I am so happy to be back on stage! Other performances include: Pirates of Penzance (2016), Sounds of the 60’s (2017), The Civic in Song (2018), Side by Side by Sondheim (2022) Performances of “Author in the Afternoon” and “The Grass is Always Greener” from the World Goes ‘Round and “I’m Still Here” from Sondheim. When not on stage, I can be found playing golf, pickleball and chasing my grandchildren around to watch all of their sports activities. A special thanks to my husband, Bob, for his support in living my dream.

Rhonda Coleman Collins I last appeared on stage playing Nurse Anderson in “Whose LIFE is it Anyway?” earlier this season. 50 years prior to that, I performed as Sarah Good in my high school production of The Crucible. During my hiatus, I’ve lived and worked in the Chicagoland area after graduating from Northern Illinois University where I received a B.S. degree in Marketing. Most recently I owned and operated my own vintage store in Evanston, IL. I retired and moved to Kalamazoo five years ago. I have enjoyed learning and appreciating the community which is rich in theatre and art history. I enjoyed my first Civic experience so much that I have returned for this current production. I look forward to performing in my first musical performance.

Brian Branstetter I want to thank Laura Zervic for the nudge to get me back into one of my life passions. A huge hug of love and thanks to Becky, Abby and Drew for their support and encouragement. It all started when my sister’s high school production needed a young boy. I was in 5th grade and said why not? I like the camaraderie of the cast and seeing the audiences’ enjoyment. Top roles have been Joe Cable/South Pacific, Fagan/ Oliver, Jerome/South Pacific because it was my first. My time is spent being with family, experiencing live music, reading, fishing and travelling.

Ron Dundon Ron has been a Civic volunteer first as a Junior Civic member in the 1960s and as a regular performer and crew member for numerous shows since 2011. Most recently Ron appeared in Morning’s at Seven and A Raisin in the Sun. He is a lifetime resident of Kalamazoo and enjoys travel, photography and nature walks with his adorable wife, Dixie Edwards, and their cats, Earless Ernie and Fred Hampton. “The Civic is a wonderful place to play. Come and join us.”

Meet the Cast and Crew Diane Foghino I have been performing in Senior Readers Shows for the last 14 years, most recently The World Goes Round and Side by Side by Sondheim. I played Elsa in The Sound of Music with my daughter playing Gretl. I love the camaraderie of working together to create a production and then performing it! I was active with Three Rivers Community Players for over 30 years on the board and performing and directing. I cherish all the theatre friendships I have made over the years there and here at the Civic. Favorite Roles are Kate in Kiss Me Kate, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, and Irene Malloy in Hello Dolly. I’m a retired teacher, sing with Blendings Vocal Ensemble, volunteer, spend time with family, walk and take water classes. Thanks to my family and friends for all their support. Rick Moll Rick first became a member of the Civic Family in 2012 being cast in the Civic Senior Readers production of A Trip to Bountiful. Rick has been seen in other Senior productions with his last being Whose LIFE is it Anyway?”earlier this season and Leaving Iowa in the spring of 2022. Besides Senior productions Rick has been in other productions including My Fair Lady, Hands on a Hardbody and Hello Dolly. “Had it not been for the Senior Readers program I never would have had the honor and privilege to volunteer at the Civic.” Rick is also active with the Allegan Community Players. All my love and thanks to my wife Mary who often encourages me to “go and do a play or something, you’re getting underfoot.”

Jane Schuster Jane has had so fun hanging out with this awesome group of classmates! She previously performed in the Chicago suburbs and Louisville, KY. Some of her favorite roles include April (Company), Melissa (Love Letters), Joy the evil stepsister (Cinderella), and Christina (Dancing at Lughnasa.) “A big thank you to Laura Z and Lori H for believing in me, to the cast for your nonstop encouragement, to Wendy W. for getting me singing again, to Mom and Dad because you’re the best!, and to Matt and Trevor for your support & guidance, and for picking up the slack so that I can have fun on stage with my new friends.” Mike Scorzo Mike has been involved in theatre for over 40 years and just recently moved to Michigan and the Kalamazoo area. Some of his favorite roles include Lenny (Rumors), Juan Peron (Evita), Charlie Cowell (Music Man), and Gaston (Beauty and the Beast). He has performed in several theatres in Illinois including Stage Coach Players, Children’s Community Theatre, Rock Valley College, as well as a few commercials for Farm and Fleet.
