Three pieces that remind us of the nearness of our Lord- of His constant love and care for us, and of His human side that shares in our struggle and models the way of dependence on the Father. Partnering with artist Susan Richards to create for us these gorgeous, meaningful pieces was an easy yes. Her talent and heart for creating worshipful scenes depicting creation that invite the viewer to be still and experience the peace and wonder of our Lord made her the perfect artist to commission our vision to.
Within the collection, calming neutral tones come together to create three stunning, versatile pieces that easily complement most any style and color palette in your home. Airy blues and greens found in “He Leads Me” remind us that we are never alone, and that Jesus leads us in a path of peace. “Never Alone” is a moodier option in the collection, with its warmer brown, gray, and rust tones creating a cloudy sky. I love how this piece reminds me that even in the stormier times, and even when I can’t always see or feel Him, that Jesus is still right behind me, never letting me out of his sight. Finally, “Sacred Quiet,” takes us to the mountainside where Jesus himself is alone. I love how this encourages me that, I too, need to slow down and get alone with the Lord, for that is where my soul is truly refueled and my cup can re-fill.

Susan is a North Carolina native creating relatable, coastal + landscape art to fill your spaces with joy. Born and raised in the mountains of Asheville, NC but summering on the gulf coast of Alabama, these are the places she draws much inspiration. Susan is also wife and mom to two amazing boys and cherishes moments with family and friends building authentic community. You can find her works online and in shops nationwide. Never Alone, painted by artist Susan Richards, is a beautiful visual of our Lord's constant watch and nearness to us.
