Rainbow trout thrive in The Trout Pond and along Logan Creek. The Trout Pond is designated for ‘fly-fishing only’ and catch-and-release. Long Lake is ideal for swimming, canoeing or paddle boating featuring boathouse and swimming area. For a more thrilling adventure, climb the two granite faces framing the property, Cow Rock Mountain and Laurel Knob (the tallest crag east of the Mississippi). Hiking is also a popular attraction. The carefully designed network of trails and pathways connect every corner of Lonesome Valley.
For the fitness driven soul, the Fitness Barn and pool are in keeping with the commitment to physical health and general well-being and the heated pool is the perfect spot for relaxing or enjoying snacks from the food truck. The Tennis Center is well-appointed and features two courts, a pavilion with seating area and seasonal refreshments. Housed in the restored Caretaker’s Cottage, Canyon Spa offers a full menu of natural body and facial treatments, therapies and products. The boutique spa features a cozy fireplace, sitting porch, three treatment rooms and intimate waiting areas.
