WJC Hanukkah Guide 2021

Page 1

WJC Hanukkah Guide As the days grow shorter and darker, Hanukkah reminds us that we have the ability to bring light into dark spaces and the tradition that helps it last miraculously even when the shadows return. This Hanukkah, we will once again be offering opportunities to come together, virtually and in-person, to share the light and warmth of community, mitzvot, and holiness. In this guide you will find opportunities for celebration, study, and prayer? all three ways to shine the light of holiness into the darkness. This Hanukkah, may we all experience the glow and warmth of Jewish tradition and values and may we carry that light out into a world so desperately in need of it.

Please take a look at page 19 of our new WJC Voices magazine for congregant Cheryl Vigder Brause's "8 Mindful Nights (and Days) of Hanukkah," where she invites us to join together to explore how we can celebrate a bit differently this year.
