Badgett helped launch the first Nashville location in 2011 and co-manages the office with Diane Pearson. The bank has become Nashville’s premier entertainment bank, now serving over 85% of the Nashville music industry. The bank is instrumental in financing some of the top business and creative names – including artists, songwriters, producers, managers, performing rights organizations, agencies, publishers, business managers, and law firms.

Originally from Hendersonville, Tennessee, Badgett has grown up in and around country music as her father, Ed Stone, was vice president of Marketing and Public Relations for Opryland USA from 19741990. This included Opryland theme park, Opryland Hotel, and the historic Grand Ole Opry. Badgett received her undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee Knoxville

She is being inducted into the Source Hall of Fame in 2025. She lives in Brentwood, TN with her husband Jon and their daughters, ages 14 and 18.

Cheryl Harris

In 1984, Cheryl Harris co-founded one of Nashville’s first entertainment business management firms alongside Kerry O’Neil and Al Hagaman Jr. That firm, now known as O’Neil Hagaman, LLC, has grown to include eight partners and principals, with a client base spanning the country, pop, and alternative genres, both in the U.S. and internationally.

Harris serves as managing partner and continues to oversee the business affairs of some of country music’s biggest superstars. She plays a key role in negotiating many of the industry’s largest stadium and arena tours.

A graduate of Leadership Music and a past program speaker, Harris has been named to Billboard’s Top Business Managers list multiple times and also contributed articles on business management to MusicRow Magazine. She is a Certified Financial Planner and Enrolled Agent (IRS), and a member of the CMA, ACM, and SOURCE.

2025 INDUCTEE

Gina Keltner

Missouri native Gina Keltner was raised on classic country music and Elvis. Her passion grew throughout high school and college, and after graduating from Southwest Missouri State University in 1989, she headed to Nashville to follow her dream to be in the music business. Soon after, she began working for Marv Dennis & Associates where she received valuable experience in both artist booking and management.

In 1999, after a stint with Dick Clark Productions’ “Prime Time Country” television show, she joined the staff at the Grand Ole Opry where she currently serves as Associate Producer of Talent, booking and assembling all shows up to 7 nights a week. Gina has been a key member of the Opry team as it has weathered such hardships as being displaced by the flood of 2010. The Opry never missed a show as Gina navigated booking and advancing artists in various venues throughout the city for five months while the Opry House was being renovated. And throughout the 2020 pandemic,

2025 INDUCTEE

in a time devoid of live shows, Gina continued to schedule country’s biggest stars as the Opry carried on, despite the absence of a live audience, reaching millions of new fans and being named Pollstar’s #1 livestream. Now in 2025, as the Opry celebrates its 100th year milestone, Gina is booking 240+ shows which translates to a staggering 2,000 performance slots this year.

Gina is a three-time Nashville Business Journal “Women in Music City” recipient and 2021 Pollstar & Venues Now “Women of Live” honoree. She received the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce’s first Beyond the Glass Ceiling Award at their 2019 Influencing Women Awards Gala. She is an alum of Leadership Music (2019) and L’Evate (2023).

While booking the Grand Ole Opry for over a quarter of a century has exceeded her musical dreams, Gina considers her greatest pride and achievement to be her daughter, Eden, who she adopted as a single mother in 2010.

Pam Russell

Pam Russell is a 33 year veteran of the Music Business.  Russell began her career in 1985 as a receptionist for Lee Greenwood’s manager, Larry McFadden. In 1986 she began working for MCA Records as Promotion Coordinator and rose through the ranks in the Sales and Marketing Department where she later became the VP of Sales & Marketing overseeing all sales and marketing initiatives for key national retail accounts. In 1996, Target awarded Russell with their Vendor of The Year Award. It was the first time the award had ever been presented to a label representative. In 2002, MCA Records merged with Mercury Records and Russell joined the new sales team as the VP of National Sales.  The National Association of Record Industry Professionals recognized Russell as the “Best in Biz” Sales Executive in 2011.  In 2018 Russell left Universal Music Group after 32 years with the company.    She retired from the music business and moved to Paducah KY to spend more time with her family.   She enjoys traveling, walking and playing pickleball.

Russell attended Murray State University from 1979

through 1983. She graduated with honors from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Music and Emphasis in Recording Industry Management.

Russell has served on the Board of Directors for the Interfaith Dental Clinic, and the Advisory Board for the Murray State Music Business Program.

She was a member of SOURCE, NATD, CMA AND ACM’S.   She is an alumnus of Leadership Music.

Mary Self

Growing up in Clarksville, TN, Mary was exposed to music at an early age by parents who sang in their church choir and enrolled her in piano lessons while she was still in elementary school. By high school, Mary was taking voice lessons which led to gigs at local restaurants and, because she was underage, her supportive parents were always in attendance. By high school, she was performing with her school’s swing choir, madrigals, and concert choir.

As early as middle school, Mary knew she wanted to pursue a degree in music. She graduated from Austin Peay State University with a degree in Vocal Performance, maintaining a side hustle singing in country music bars and restaurants. She landed one very special gig, portraying beloved character Minnie Pearl at the 1982 Worlds Fair in Knoxville and her training for the role came from nonother than Minnie Pearl herself, Sarah Cannon, who invited Mary to her Nashville home and coached her on facial expressions, mannerisms, and of course, her trademark ‘HOW-DEE!,’ an experience that remains a cherished memory.

Mary then spent a year as an entertainer on a Carnival

Cruise Line, performing in a Manhattan Transfer-style vocal quartet and as a solo performer in a country show. Docked in California, the ship traveled down the Baha coast to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta.

She landed a job at ASCAP, her first job on Music Row, in 1986 where – over the next almost 40 years – she ascended from receptionist to Writer/Publisher Administration, to Membership Administration Representative to her current position of Senior Manager of Membership and Administration, Nashville. She will officially mark her 40th work anniversary January 6, 2026.

Mary originally took a job at ASCAP because she thought it would be a great place to work while learning about songwriters and artists. She could’ve never imagined it would also include countless memorable highlights like meeting songwriters – and ASCAP leadership – Marilyn Bergman, Alan Bergman, and Paul Williams who penned some of the biggest hits of her all-time favorite female vocalist, Barbra Streisand.

Mary has been involved in the Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament (MRLGT), benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee, for 36 years. She is a member of the Copyright Society of the South, AIMP, CMA, ACM and the GMA. Her son Bryan graduated from Vanderbilt University where he received a degree in music performance and Economics. He works at Domain Capital Group and provides data analytics and helps manage royalties for their Media, Entertainment and Technology Funds. Mary’s fur children are cats Thelma and Louise.

Kay West

Kay West began her journalism career at 19 years old in Manhattan at a national men’s magazine, where in her eventual role as associate editor, she began assigning articles about country music artists, at a time when national media coverage of the genre was rare. She was recruited to Nashville in 1981 to direct RCA Nashville’s publicity department, then worked in the same capacity for MCA Records before re-committing to journalism. She remained as George Strait’s publicist for over 15 years, primarily charged with declining interview requests for the media-shy superstar.

Over more than 30 years in Nashville, she wrote for local, regional and national newspapers and magazines, and was Nashville correspondent for People and People Country. She contributed to multiple country music centered publications and wrote for all the major labels. Within the industry she worked on multiple-music centered events such as Music Expo, Nashville Music Extravaganza, the Nashville Music Awards and Country in the Rockies.

She was one of the three first writers for the Nashville Scene beginning in 1989 and was their weekly restaurant critic from 1992-2007, a column she resumed in 2022 on a guest basis, receiving the Food

2025 INDUCTEE

Writing award in 2024 from the Association of Alternative Newsmedia.

She has written five books including Around the Opry Table A Feast of Recipes and Stories from the Grand Ole Opry. In Nashville she served on multiple non-profit boards and was a long time and active volunteer for Thistle Farms and Room in the Inn.

West moved to Asheville NC in 2019 and continues to write about food and people in WNC, the Carolinas and the southeast.
