“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its shoes on.” -Mark Twain
Tariffs were the story of 2025 and will continue to be going into 2026. The lies about tariffs being a foreign country’s expense are silly. Tariffs are now a problem for everyone doing business overseas or north and south of our borders. The economic problem that tariffs have brought can be seen everywhere — coffee, meat, cars, dishwashers, clothing, lumber, toys, computers, TVs, and yes, now socks!
Raising prices in 2026 was not in our plan, but here we are. Socksmith needs to raise prices in 2026 for the simple, truthful reason that there is no “Tariff Fairy” that pays the border taxes on incoming goods from all countries doing business with the USA.
If you have any questions about pricing, please get in touch with our customer service team, sales folks, or just email, and we can send you the 2026 price list ASAP. The new pricing is reflected in this catalog and will be on the B2B site when the year transitions to 2026. 2025 pricing remains until the end of the year, and we recommend stocking up on classics by the end of this year.
The good news is — as we’ve always done for Socksmith retailers — we’ve built in the same great margins for all classic and new collections coming in 2026. These new collections are very cool, and we’re thrilled to share these wonderful designs the team has put together! We just have so much fun creating these products; it’s in our blood.
We’re still very competitively priced in the marketplace and remain a best-seller in all our categories for retailers around the world. Our products will always be well priced and of the best quality in whatever economic environment we’re living in.
As always, we’re here for you just as you have been for us, and we’re looking forward to 2026. Wishing everyone a great New Year!
