2020: such a nice round number. We’re going to need some lively socks for the coming year, and our design team has created more new ideas than I could have imagined. Every year they out-do themselves, but 2020 is going to be an especially outstanding year, with Socksmith’s creative power shining bright. Look for a new brand of printed socks (NO BS), several new licensed properties in a wide variety of collections, and much more from Socksmith that will make 2020 an exciting year. We’re also working on new packaging for our classic Socksmith brand, designed to enhance our imagery and boost your sales. More to come on that front later in 2020.

We’ve continued to multiply our licensed collection, with new graphics representing MLK, Maya Angelou, Laurel Burch, Jimi Hendrix, & Elvis Presley. This program continues to expand with our designers’ ability to create knit socks with photorealistic imagery – always very impactful, with the ‘art of the sock’ in mind. These are important products for anyone wanting to represent some of the most important historic and artistic figures in human history. We also keep adding new graphics to existing collections that have been popular for years, and will continue to represent our respect for important historic figures such as: Frida Kahlo, Albert Einstein, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and more.

Our latest collection, coming sometime this spring, is our NO BS (No Boring Socks) brand. This is a different kind of sock for us, and we’re excited to branch out and reach more customers than ever before. We’re responding to those who want to wear art on their feet that only the print medium can produce. It’s a very creative group of socks that will catch the eye of those consumers looking for an edgier athletic feel.

Our new partner in manufacturing, based in North Carolina, has become an integral part of the direction Socksmith plans to expand. With their help, Socksmith is producing a collection that makes me both proud and thrilled to see a sock that brings sustainability to the Socksmith Design House. Check these out, as they’re both beautiful and practical for outdoor activities.

Lots to do in the coming year, and we’re working hard to make it a good one for selling world-class socks – Designed With Love in Santa Cruz, California.
