To heal
To know anything. Over the pain. To hear the roar of my blood dull to idle chatter
To walk on strong stalks instead of brittle bones.
To be awake to the world around me-
WHO KNOWS if you’ll EVER wake up. Wake Up. Sausage. Sizzlin’.
Rise and shine, the day is new. Is it possible you’ve out grown me today?
Like the bed at your parent’s house.
Am I suddenly too small for you?
My warmth & safety something you over look. My arms a cover you don’t miss. Blankets tossed like our last good memory. Well. It’s time you grew up. Face the day and soldier on. You knowI used to fear War But nowadays?
I fear I’m in one Sanity is out the window,
She flew the coop, so to speak. MIA since Writers Block went AWOL.
Mayday, mayday, I think my heart’s in two Call for a medic
She’s gonna lose her dignity soon.
Heart’s on her sleeve & bleeding out.
Is a transplant out of the question?
Who knows if her heart will mend
From thatStatic shock
PTSD lookin like a welcome mat You’d have me rest my head where your feet are atLickitty SPLAT
There goes my heartAttack Attack Attack
That’s all I get out of you Nothing new
You defensive little shrew. GOD, Will You PLEASE Get a Clue?!
What I wouldn’t GIVE For the sweet kiss of peace! Grant me new beginnings Away from you Thoughts driftin thruThe. Years.
Peace would keep me away from you.
Peace would fight fair. I gotta stop and stare I can’t believe You said You Cared.
When You Left
