It has been an absolute honor and privilege to be a part of the SCCU organization. Since coming on in June I have watched so many magical changes happen in every single department, driving forward momentum for Superior Choice as a whole. We’ve implemented new processes and systems that create efficiencies for employees and a better experience for members. We’ve invested in new buildings and planned upgrades for existing ones. We’ve increased pay and significantly elevated our benefits package. We’ve put metrics in place and set clear goals to achieve. We’ve put more focus on company culture and prioritized gathering as a cohesive unit. With so many positive changes happening, I knew we needed to evolve the SCCU brand to match the energy we’ve created together. In a labor of love, we have conducted significant brand

work to create a deeper meaning behind the Superior Choice brand and lay out a framework to build upon. The most obvious difference is the new SCCU colors, which debuted at our holiday pickle. We kept our current logo, brightening the colors to better reflect the new energized spirit of Superior Choice. It is the perfect representation of our core value “Hit Heavy, Stay Humble”, staying true to our roots while continuing to improve. With the brand evolution, you will see every single touchpoint carefully thought through and redesigned, from business cards and letterhead to branch signage and our website. The evolved branding signifies that something new and exciting is happening at SCCU, and we are bringing a whole new attitude to our communities.

Colors play a large role in the essence of a brand. As we are shaking things up as a company, we knew it was essential to update the SCCU colors to represent all the forward momentum we were making. We kept the blues but brightened things up to match the new SCCU energy. Ladysmith is the first branch to debut the new look and feel, and we are excited for each of the branches to follow suit. We’ve updated every touchpoint throughout the company with the new vibrant colors, so we can head into 2022 with a bang!

Alongside the debut of our new brand is a new and improved website. With a more modern look and feel, the new site is more functional and easier to navigate, creating a better user experience for our members and potential members. We will be closely monitoring statistics and performance of the new site, to continue optimizing for higher conversions. When a consumer is searching for a financial solution, we want to make sure that when they land on our page, they choose SCCU to meet their needs. We will continue to update and make changes to the new site, so if you see anything that needs editing, please submit a ticket to marketing.
