We just launched a groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind product! Presenting *drum roll please* our new Round-Up Share Certificates (2.23% APY). This matches the same roundup mechanism as the round-up savings product we’ve already had, but instead of moving money into a savings account, it saves the money to a 12 month share certificate that’s going to earn interest. RUN, SCREAM, TELL OUR MEMBERS! This is a great product to cross-sell when a member is opening a checking account!

Members will be able to access their funds two days ahead of their payday with our new Early Pay direct deposit feature. As long as the direct deposit meets the requirements, they will automatically get their funds early without any enrollment or activation fees as long as the direct deposit meets the requirements. This works not only on paychecks, but also unemployment, retirement, social security, gig jobs, tax refunds, and much more.

We're Growing!
We are just hours away from the final count but at this point its looking VERY promising with 88% of the votes being ‘Yes’! We are so excited to join forces with HCCU come January 1st and have a whole new set of hands to work with and meet. Not to mention, our current members will have 2 new branches to bank at! Come 2023, SCCU will have 37,000 members, 13 branches (and counting), and $800 million in total assets!
This fundraiser was created to keep community at the center of what we do at SCCU. Due to awesome partnerships with UWS & UMD, we had spaces in two hockey arenas that needed to be designed and raise brand awareness around SCCU. But who are we without our members & community? That’s why we decided to create a fundraiser that simultaneously helped us “Fill the Check” and raise money for youth hockey.
DETAILS:
• Hockey pucks will be for sale at our Twin Ports locations for both members & employees to purchase
• Pucks are $20 each - All proceeds go to youth hockey
• Purchased hockey pucks will be displayed on the walls at either Wessman or Amsoil Arenas!
• Denfeld & Hermantown purchases will be displayed at Amsoil Arena
• Tower & East End purchases will be displayed at Wessman Arena
• If you buy a puck at Admin, the pucks will be divvied out based on which display is short.

• Are you a hockey fan?
We have a fundraiser going on where if you buy a puck the proceeds go straight towards youth hockey! PLUS, you get your puck on display at the UMD or UWS hockey arena!
• Did you know we are doing a youth hockey fundraiser! If you want to donate or learn more, head over to that table and buy a puck with a teller!
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Members & Non-members will "purchase" a puck with a teller. Pucks are $20 each.
2. Members can choose to pay cash for the puck or have it taken directly out of thier account. Non-members will have to pay cash (Tell them about our convenient ATMs!).
3. The money should go straight into the Hockey Association’s account
4. Give the purchaser a puck & a marker to decorate their puck or simply just write their name on the puck. Remind them to return the puck into the bucket (point to the bucket)
5. A team member from the Community Engagement or Marketing team will swing by and pick them up when we get word that the buckets are filling up.
