Come September, I will have been with SCCU for 1 year!

Do you have any recent accomplishments?

Definitely executing some of the larger events such as the Lumberjack World Championships & Northern Wisconsin State Fair was a huge accomplishment. Not super recent but I also got to coordinate and run the successful Launch Parties for Eau Claire and Rice Lake.

Bre, Meghan, and Ben P! My team rocks!

What does a typical workday look like for you?

A typical workday varies for me. I’m either working from home or I am attending events. Sometimes at the same time.

What’s something people don’t know about your job?

I don’t think people really understand or know about all of the sponsorship or events I do and how they impact our communities and SCCU as a whole. Each event we run either trying to help community members learn more about money, tackle their own personal finances, or just let people know that a financial doesn’t have to be boring, they can be fun and different like SCCU! Plus my role and anyone who helps at events has a huge helping hand in recruiting new members!

What does your ideal day off look like?

Varies! I’m either hanging out with friend or family, staying home to rest, or I am enjoying the outdoors, like hiking, going to the beach, and walking my dog. I also foster dogs, so sometimes my days off are filled with doing that.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grow up?

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a ballerina, a singer, an actor, or work with animals. It was a mix depending on the age!

Which holiday has the best food?

Christmas! My favorite holiday. My family always had Italian food for Christmas and we make an amazing lasagna.

We’re at karaoke night but you can’t look at the lyrics, what song are you singing?

Although I do sing, I am kind of bad at karaoke because I forget the lyrics. If I had to sing a song though I’d pick anything from Billie Eilish or Sam Smith. I know the majority of their songs pretty well.

What is your “girl dinner”?

My girl dinner would be fruit, a blueberry bagel, and wine.

If no one ever sneezed again, how long do you think it would take you to notice?

A while. I am very intuitive, but I don’t notice a lot of small details like that. If you could breed 2 different species of animals together, which would they be, and explain your work.

Highland Cows and Golden Retrievers. Because it would be a giant fluff ball who is super friendly and fuzzy.

Barbie movie or Oppenheimer?

BOTH! I saw them back-to-back. You really cannot compare those movies. Oppenheimer was a 10/10 and Barbie was a 9/10. I do believe Oppenheimer will get a lot of Oscar nominations, but Barbie will become a cult classic.
