Mr. & Mrs. SCCU Pagent

With the Gilman June Dairy Day’s coming up in June, SCCU is changing how they participate. This year we are hosting a SCCU Pagent on Saturday, May 21st to crown a Mr. & Mrs. SCCU to ride the float at the Dairy Days Parade. Please fill out the Application in its entirety. Once all information is entered into the form you must re-save the form (Information is NOT automatically saved). Forms must be filled out on a system that supports Adobe. No hand-written applications will be accepted. Applications must be submitted by April 29th, 2022 at 4 pm. All contestants must be present to compete in the SCCU Pagent.

The SCCU Pagent program is open to all persons. There are no restrictions with regard to marital status, dependents, place of residence, or title. The minimum age requirement is 18 (and a high school graduate) by coronation day, May 21, 2022. Candidates are encouraged to run based upon their appropriateness as ambassadors of goodwill for the Superior Choice Credit Union. Qualifications include good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to the time/energy/monetary requirements that are necessary to fulfill the one-year term as a Mr. & Mrs.

What is the Time Commitment?

The candidate schedule is a busy one and will include some daytime, evening and weekend appearances. Attending the Dairy Days Parade is a must.

What are the Costs Involved?

Are There Prizes or Awards?

The prizes and awards that you will receive as a member of the SCCU Royal Family will not come in the form of scholarships or gifts. The rewards that you will experience include a lifetime of friendships and contacts and the satisfaction of having continued a long tradition of good will and representation. Candidate Responsibilities

During candidacy, each candidate is personally responsible for the following: • Attending EVERY event at the DECC • Riding the zamboni during UMD

Hockey Games • One floor-length white coronation gown or white coronation suit. • Daytime, business attire, and semiformal attire for appearances. • Transportation to and from meetings and appearances • Attendance at all candidate appearances unless prior approval has been granted. • Handing out SCCU buttons to help promote the deals and rates. • Following all rules and protocol guidelines as stated herein and in the Royal Protocol

• Renaissance festival

Bre will be traveling to the Renaissance Festival to highlight our Q3 promotions (you’ll hear about these in July). She will be engaging with the community and handing out fliers. Katie from marketing’s Car fund Just 2 weeks ago, Katie from marketing was a victim of a hit and run. While she was away for 2 hours with her family someone decided to purposefully run into her car and leave without even a note. For this reason SCCU is going above and beyond this month and donating $30k to katie to get her car door fixed. This is a very sad and seriously silly april fools joke brought to you by the marketing department.
