Ashland Renos Ashland Renos

Our Ashland renovations are underway and we can’t wait to serve our members in our newly renovated building. This reno will incorporate all the new branches things from the bright colors to the DELICIOUS scent of fresh cookies. The branch is expected to remain open during renovations and the project will be done in sections to ensure we are able to still give our members the same great service while keeping the branch open. The branch is expected to be finished by the end of the year!

DARE TO CARE HIGHLIGHT:

Dylan got a flat tire while training at admin; Kirsten, Alex, Chelsea and Kevin all tried to assist him with getting it changed. There was no help without super human strength, so Dylan had to call for some road side assistance. Chelsea stayed with him until the tow-truck came and pried the tire off with a crowbar and got the spare on. It was the end of the day and he was supposed to travel back to Ashland for some branch shadowing but was unable to get in to get his tire fixed until the morning. We were able to get him a hotel room in town for the night so he didn’t have to worry about that on top of his car trouble, and he could safely travel back with a fixed tire during the day light.

TEAM MEMBER THE MONTH

DIANA GUIST System Solutions

OF Diana's nomination:

I am nominating Diana because of the time and effort she has put into trying to correct the issue with HCCU’s routing number and ACH transactions. Apparently, several large companies have deactivated HCCU’s routing number in their data base and our Hayward/Cable members are getting errors when trying to set up ACH transactions. Diana has called UMACHA to get guidance in how to correct this and has spent a good deal of time contacting companies to get this fixed. I feel Diana has hit 2 core values with her efforts.....Dare to Care and Hit Heavy, Stay Humble. Great job Diana for putting in the extra effort for our members.

Youth Month Calendar

April is Youth Month and we have snacks for all of our branches to pass out to all the kiddos that stop in! This is a great opportunity to share what we have to offer kids for financial products and to educate their adult about the benefits of starting a youth account young.

TEACHING GOOD MONEY HABITS TEACHING RESPONSIBILITY

Along with youth month, we are excited to announce that calendars are coming back at the end of 2023! The calendars will incorporate all our of service areas with the help from our tiniest members and their beautiful art skills. If you have Kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, or know of any kiddos who love to draw, encourage them to draw a picture about what they love about their town/city. All it takes is an 8.5x11” sheet of paper, some markers, crayons, or coloring pencils (make sure there is blue, teal, & orange), and a little bit of creativity! Artwork can be turned into their nearest branch and all they have to do is fill our a submission form.
