Marshal Showboat, brought to you by JM Lexus, will feature this year’s Grand Marshals Tori Spelling and Ryan Hunter-Reay, riding on the Nova Southeastern bow. The Winterfest® Television Special will be filmed from Stranahan House and Riverside Hotel which will also host VIPs and judges.

Winterfest®, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that operates through the generous donations of our benefactors, especially our title sponsor –Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Without these generous organizations and individuals, we would not be able to “wow” our viewers from South Florida and around the globe each year.

Winterfest® has an active board of 50, more than 300 volunteers, a full-time staff of three and interns that work tirelessly to make this event memorable each year. For 42 years, we have rocked Fort Lauderdale with spectacular displays of lights and sounds that echo throughout the holiday season.
Get tickets for the “Winterfest® Grandstand Viewing Area,” presented by TigerDirect.com, located at Birch State Park which includes assigned, pre-reserved seating and is considered to be the best place on land to view the parade. This “Party in the Park” has fun activities and games to keep everyone entertained at the “Broward Health Safety & Family Fun Zone,” along with live entertainment thanks to Mobile Mike.
Considered the world’s most watched boat parade, Winterfest® is the most attended event in Florida and the No. 7 most attended event in the country. The 12-mile parade route starts at Fort Lauderdale’s historic Stranahan House and sails by Riverside Hotel, our host property. More than one million people watch the parade via land, water or air as it sails from the New River up to Lake Santa Barbara. Parade participants are everything from kayaks, sailboats, motorboats, classics and mega yachts. For only $35, a private boat can become a star of the waterway and enter to win several awards based on their theme and decoration. The theme this year, “Passport to Paradise,” takes viewers on a trip around the world, paying homage to the global diversity that makes Fort Lauderdale special. Entries will honor world-famous landmarks, cities and international flavors with their décor and music, inviting guests to add stamps to the passport of their imagination. The Grand
If you can’t be at the parade in person, you can still enjoy the splendor. The City of Fort Lauderdale will air the parade on the city station – Comcast Channel 78. Our website, WinterfestParade.com, will live stream the event thanks to our friends at EyeOnSouthFlorida. The parade with be rebroadcasted throughout the holiday season on WSVN Channel 7 and Fox SportsNet, so you have plenty of chances to catch the action.
