Panthers Patrol will be on the scene with the party mobile, interactive games and prize wheel, test your skills with an electronic boxer from the U.S. Army, or throw some heat with the Miami Marlins interactive fast pitch and tee ball game. Take your picture with Santa in the AutoNation Sleigh, explore Sun Sentinel Kids Town, score a sweet bicycle helmet from the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida and enjoy live entertainment with special guest appearances. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino December 13th, 6 - 9 p.m.

This invitation-only event will welcome the 2013 addition to Winterfest’s star-studded history of Grand Marshals amidst local VIPs, dignitaries and sponsors. The Grand Marshal will receive the keys from the Mayors of Broward County and the City of Fort Lauderdale. Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale will present a brick for the Riverwalk Celebrity Walk of Fame in their honor.

Lauren is 15-years-old, fighting stage IV high-risk Neuroblastoma and the cancer has spread into her bone marrow. She is a true fighter and remains optimistic as she continues her treatment.

Her strong-will is inspirational. Lauren has grown into a very beautiful, mature young woman and is an advocate for children and young adults facing cancer. Once she can put the illness behind her, she hopes to one day become a pediatric oncologist!

“Even with all of the bad that has occurred, I’ve continued to persevere and look at the positivity. I hope to use this experience to be a role model to other teenagers faced with this difficult journey.” - Lauren Congratulations Lauren!
