The Tudor House

The Tudor House on Portage Lakes is home to many of the City of New Franklin's community events throughout the year. A historic lakefront mansion built in 1927 by Goodrich executive Frank Mason, the 27-room mansion sits on over 9 acres of lakefront property adjacent to the Portage Lakes State Park It is owned by the City of New Franklin and managed by Mason's Cove, LLC.

Beginning in late spring and into the fall, the Tudor House becomes a destination for family fun and community events like the Sail Into Summer Craft & Vendor Fair, the Old Fashioned 4th of July Picnic, a Lakeside Oktoberfest, and a variety of concerts and movies for all ages. The house and grounds are also rented for private and corporate events year round.

Over the last four years, we've made it a priority to bring the community together throughout the year by offering fun, family-friendly events at little or no cost at one of the most beautiful landmarks in our city, the Tudor House on Portage Lakes. The events were an immediate success and continue to grow, proving that our residents and neighbors value these activities

A hard-working, devoted group of over 30 volunteers makes up the Tudor House Commission and helps make these events what they are today. Their time and commitment to the community are one of the reasons we can offer so much for so little

These events continue to grow each year in attendance and in the variety of experiences we offer. This year we're turning to our local businesses and organizations in hopes that you'll help us continue to grow these events and foster community here in the Portage Lakes

We are looking for event sponsors for 2023 events. As an event sponsor, your organization will receive visibility and exposure throughout New Franklin, the Portage Lakes, and Northeast Ohio through a variety of marketing materials, event signage, social media, on-site presence, and media coverage.
