Jennifer Lashbrook is a Dallas-based artist. Lashbrook has become known for her “Paint Chip Art.” This method of collage involves individually cut pieces of paint swatch paper arranged to create a stunning pixelated work of art. From a distance, the colors blend to create a photo-realistic quality of work, with the individual ‘pixels’ becoming more distinguishable the closer one views the piece. Lashbrook is a modern impressionist, and her swatch paintings are the brushstrokes of the digital age. Her work shows a comical reference to the commercial, the digital and the reproducible.

NELSON DE LA NUEZ / The King of Pop

Stars and Strip Flag mixed media on paper, 40 x 49 in Price $8,150 Nelson De La Nuez is a Pop Artist whose striking, vivid mixed media artwork borrows motifs and messages from the language of wealth, power, fame, excess, taste, and access to cast a narrative about modern society. He is an innate iconoclast, elevating themes from commerce, pop culture, advertising, and branding to provide commentary on our culture – showing us that the entire world is for sale –in a manner that is both ironic and aspirational.

Included in the “Whoʼs Who List of the Most Collected Artists of Our Time,” De La Nuez was born in Cuba and moved as a child to California, where he was initially introduced to many of the iconic images that he uses in his art to this day. His ability to experience these important cultural touchpoints at such a young age with a purely fresh perspective allows him a distinctive point of view – one that is both critical and embracing, sardonic and sentimental – that lends his work an air of accessibility and curiosity, and has led to his significant popularity.

Price $24,000 Russell Young, born in 1959 in Yorkshire, is a British-American artist, who grew up in foster care, best known for his large-scale silk screen paintings examining cultural icons, the nature of fame, and the souring of the American Dream. Young photographed many music stars throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including Morrissey, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, REM, The Smiths, Bauhaus, Diana Ross, Paul Newman, Björk, and many others. He went on to shoot over 100 music videos for leading artists during MTV’s height in the 1990s, which brought him to the United States. Young eventually moved to California, where he began his current practice with his sold-out show Pig Portraits in Los Angeles in 2003. The many series that have followed demonstrate his visceral analog processes and signature use of diamond dust.

Dylan Martinez’s artwork explores the boundaries of human perception through the manipulation of light, space, and the physical properties of glass.

Martinez’s latest body of work explores techniques in which the viewer is presented with objects which trick the eye, trompe l’oeil. The reflective and refractive properties of glass in their configurations fracture light in dynamic styles, allowing the viewer a moment of playful exploration with the work.
