LOCATION :The Mediterranean Coast Datca / Mugla, Turkiye Sound waves are the music, stars are the light. and orange’s smell.... Green Orange will be located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Egean Sea and close to the an-cient Cnidos Peninsula, in Datca, Turkiye. The building area of the restaurant is kind of a hidden heaven and a quiet place for relaxing. Green Orange invete people to having delicious and healthy food with organic fruit bar and vegetarian menu. MATERIALS

Concept Development This restaurant will design with orange’s every life cycle form such as seed flowers leafs, fruit. Also, it will design with using organic and sustainable materials for its interior and exterior. This concept will be biophilic design. Using mediternian decoration objects will make the restaurant warm, cozy, relax-ing and make people feel home.

Color schemes have the power to make a room warmer or cozier. Their motifs and the patterns are other elements that add interest and life to a space, like a texture coming from wall ceramic, lighting fixture, wall panels and artwork. The styley of the pattern which are floral, geometric, abstract or traditional could be in harmony with the overall style of the scheme. Mixing tex-tures and contrasting them add depth and interest to the restaurant scheme.

Project Narrative The Notre Dame Bridge Project is inspired by the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. Its pointed arches, rib vaulting ceiling, coppery shade highlighted groin vaults, flying buttresses supporting the upper walls of nave, are architectural elements that inspire awe and wonder. The beautiful rose windows complement Notre Dame Bridge with a symmetrical balance between both axes.The use of a vivid white color palette ensures that the bridge will stand out from the surrounding landscape.

Concept Development The design solution for the Notre Dame Bridge takes historical inspirations from different time periods such as Gothic, Hellenistic and Renaissance architecture. As a public place the bridge completely communicates with people through its design and structure. This space is for everyone to visit, spending time sitting, running, walking or fishing.

As visitors walk by the groin vaults, they create movement.

When a viewer looks up, they see the movement on the ceiling of the bridge and the reflection of water.

Bridge Perspective Views The site is landscaped to provide a social area for picnicking, walking, fishing, running or relaxing for all ages. This project is built by using SketchUp and InDesign software.

Project Narrative This biophilic school project provides helping students improve their learning skills, attention and memory. It also enhances creativity and lowers the stress level. The project is designed to meet the WELL-building standards.The project will be accomplished through the use of natural color scheme, acoustic materials, natural light (mimic natural lights with LED), sustainable, non-toxic and recycle materials. Project Narrative I designed my project with observing bat flower design. You can see clearly on my project that colors are light reflected which are yellow green, lilac and purple. And using different kinds of furniture shapes show nat-ural and free-form. Bat flower has shiny, bright and green leaves. Its looks so energic and dinamic. I used its leaves as the symbol of my project. I put this symbol on the wall in some places for instance students cafe, hallway and center of the building. Nu-merous threadlike bracteoles hang from the flowers resembling 8-10 inch long whiskers.

CONCEPT

Concept Development I used these wiskers and its blooms as the big chandelier in the mid-dle of the building. My main color choices are inspired from bat flowers’ active and energic colors which are lilac, purple, yellow and green. I tried to choose color scheme giving fresh energy, power, hope, success, growth that stimulates mental activity, knowledge, concentration and joy for all students throuhout the building. Also my furniture choice, especially tables and chairs are flexible and adjustable which help students either work together or separately. They can study the way they feel comfortable. In conclusion, this building has every as-pect for active learning which includes collaborative, individual, small and large groups, open relax and closed spaces.

Project Narrative The historical building, Hagia Sophia, in Istanbul, Turkiye, here is unique in that the interior color is golden. When designing the Open Library, the design solution was strongly inspired by the Hagia Sophia, especially the use of a dome and rectangular base. The center building contains two domes and two apses. The dome shape was designed using half arches, as reflected in the Hagia Sophia’s dome’s interior patterns. The use of half arches for the dome makes the building light because the mirror arches act like windows. Overall, the building is very breathable with huge walls, high structure and without doors. S-shaped reddish sitting, is placed in the building’s nave, and creates a strong balance with the domes.

Concept Development The library’s bookshelves are made from marble, and accented with decorative crown moldings, and a corinthian capital pattern. which is Hagia Sophia’s columns’ capital’s pattern. An outside sitting provides an additional sitting and reading area. The use of Hagia Sophia’s interior golden color for the building interior and flexible alternative benches and building’s greenish fences creates an inviting atmosphere. The building also has the ability to convert to a closed structure, with glass installed on domes and columns.

Perspectives

Project Narrative The client has purchased a plot of land on which they wish to build a home. The maximum buildable area of the property is 18’ wide by 30’ long. They are asking for a 2-story home with basement and would like to see the plans for it by next week.

The intent of this design is to achieve an accessible hotel bar that provides accessible bar counter, optional sittings, comfortable, warm, clean, friendly, and relaxing experience. It will be accomplished through the use of complementary color scheme wall and floor material with brass foot rail, black accents and light brown leather textile.
