To support the workplace concept and desired aesthetic, a monochromatic color palette was applied throughout the space to create a cohesive, calming environment. The furniture and layout were thoughtfully selected to accommodate a neurodiverse range of users, balancing collaboration, privacy, and wellness. The design includes two collaborative zones, private offices, pods, and acoustically separated workstations for focused tasks. A wellness room, mother’s room, lounge, and kitchenette promote comfort and inclusivity, while glass walls and sliding doors in offices and conference rooms offer transparency without sacrificing privacy. Biophilic touches, such as integrated greenery, and an outdoor patio with lounge furniture, further enhance well-being and create moments of connection with nature.

“Bark & Spark”

Wellness & Activity Center for Dogs The “Bark & Spark” Wellness & Activity Center for Dogs, located in Chelsea, NY, NY is designed to provide expert care, engaging play areas, and comfortable boarding for furry family members. Inspired by a personal love for dogs and my Boston Terrier, named Molly, the space features a wellness clinic, grooming salon, pet-friendly café, training zones, a pet hotel, and an activity center with a pool. Thoughtfully planned materials, lighting, and space design create a safe, functional, and enjoyable retreat for pets and their owners.

Pawsitive Retreat

The design concept is built around the idea of a dog’s paradise — an urban escape where play, wellness, and comfort come together. Inspired by my mood board, which reflects soft textures, organic elements, and joyful activities, Bark & Spark is designed to feel like a retreat within the city. Through biophilic influences, soothing materials, and playful spatial planning, the space fosters a sense of freedom, fun, and relaxation, ensuring every pet has the ultimate Pawsitive Retreat.

d e r i p s In by my dog, this project addresses the growing need for pet wellness. According to the PetObesityPrevention.org statistics from 2022, 59% of dogs in the U.S. are overweight. With 72% of households owning dogs, Bark & Spark taps into a large market by combining expert care, interactive play areas, and comfortable boarding facilities under one roof
