Since 1972, Katchakid has been making pool safety barriers. Founded by Blair Esson, who pioneered the original pool safety net, our family-run company designs and installs removable safety nets, mesh fencing and debris covers from our base in Houston — each custom-made for one pool and fitted on site by trained technicians. Our nets are designed and tested to meet ASTM F1346-23 for manual safety covers, and we hold an A+ BBB rating. No barrier is childproof, and none replaces close, constant adult supervision.
