Moore Art

This art group is a former watercolour landscape class that lost its teacher several years ago, and have carried on as a group without tuition. We develop on our own and support each other in different projects. Some members do pictures, some do cards or both. It is a very sociable group and we usually get together for a meal at Christmas. Meetings are every Wednesday afternoon.

RNLI Quiz night will be held on Friday 13th October, from 7pm. Quiz starts at 7:30pm. Along with the quiz costing £10, there will be a backwards bingo costing £5.00. Please pay cash on the night, and bring your own drink and nibbles. Contact Jane Jones by email brin_jane@hotmail.com

Mountnessing

Brentwood Organ & Keyboard Club

Join us at our monthly concerts on Tuesday afternoons (usually the 4th Tuesday) at Mountnessing Village Hall. Concerts are performed by a different professional every month using their own keyboard system which gives them a whole orchestra at their fingertips. Many styles and genres are played at each concertjazz, easy listening, classical, pop, big band, swing, film themes, songs from musicals etc. Something for everyone to enjoy. Concerts start at 2:15pm (doors 1:45pm). Entry at the door is £5 for members, £7 for guests (cash please) including interval refreshments.
