ABOUT The history of Vogel footwear goes beyond a simple chronology of dates and highlights to instead reveal a story about craft mastery, loyalty, and provenance. These have always been what matter most to the Vogel experience. Egidius Vogel arrived in Manhattan from his native Germany and established himself in 1879 as a master craftsman of shoemaking. Vogel’s handmade shoes were a manifestation of his enduring ethos to create a bespoke footwear experience for the most refined clientele. Though much has changed since 1879, Vogel has remained steadfast in its mission to create a bespoke footwear experience instead of setting trends in fashion, business, and craftsmanship. The company has flourished for four generations and counts among its esteemed clientele former U.S. presidents and statesmen, as well as celebrated movie stars, and world-renowned equestrians. What draws them to Vogel is a reputation that’s been evolving for more than a century, one that’s synonymous with elegance, tradition, and handmade mastery.

COMFORT WITH

HOW TO DETERMINE MY SIZE Measurements must be taken wearing riding trousers and socks that you would normally use. A tape measure is recommended for the most precise results. All our boots come in 11 sizes, from 35 to 45, according to standard European sizing, corresponding to U.S. men’s sizes 3 to 11 and U.S. women’s sizes 5½ to 13½. 1. Once you’ve determined your foot size, you can proceed to measuring your calf circumference. Take measurements while standing, barefoot, with legs straight and slightly apart. Having another person help you take your measurements would be recommended. While standing, measure the circumference of your calf at its widest point. Be sure that the tape measure remains horizontal without being too tight or too loose when wrapped around your calf. If your calves produce different measurements, use the larger measurement of the two. 2. Measure the circumference of your knee just below the kneecap. This is where the boot’s zipper ends, which is also the highest part of the boot. This point also corresponds to the back of the knee, where it bends. 3. Lastly, measure the boot height from the floor to the crease at the back of your knee. Take this measurement barefooted or only wearing socks. This point usually corresponds to the knee crease at the back of the knee, where it bends. You must add 1 cm (3/8 inch) up to a maximum of 1.5 cm (5/8 inch) to the height measurement for the boots to naturally adapt to you.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR VOGEL BOOTS Exposure to riding-arena sand, dirt and daily wear may impact the longevity of your Vogels; regular care helps preserve their condition over time. It’s a good idea to use boot trees so that your boots are easier to work with and hold their shape.

Using a soft brush, gently remove arena sand and dirt from the leather uppers and the stitching at the sole junction, working from the upper to the sole.

Dampen a clean cloth or sponge and remove any remaining dirt and debris.

Clean your boots with a glycerine-based soap, avoiding chemical sprays or other products, which could dry out or damage the leather’s finish. Afterward, let your boots dry completely before proceeding to the next step.

Choose the appropriate polish cream for your boots. You can use a neutral polish to nourish the leather, or a colored polish (for example black or dark brown) to enhance the leather’s finish and bring out its vibrancy. Beeswax, mink oil, lanolin, or almond oil-based creams work best for cleaning and nourishing the leather.

Using a soft, clean damp sponge (preferably a natural sea sponge), apply the polish cream in small circular motions from the upper to the sole. Leave the cream to penetrate for at least 15 minutes, then gently wipe off any excess with a soft cloth.

Now that you’ve cared for your Vogel boots, keep them looking their best by storing them with the inflatable boot trees in place and away from exposure to the elements. Remember to leave away your boots from humidity, direct water or sunny/extracold zones. Never let your boots dry in front of a direct hot heather. How frequently you care for your Vogels depends on how often you ride, however the best suggestion to treat your boots right is to clean them after every use and let them dry before putting them into a boot bag or a tack trunk. Note: Unlike the Brooklyn and Manhattan models, the Prince features an elastic insert made from an elasticized membrane. While it visually resembles leather, it is not leather. As a result, chemical cleaning or polishing products should be avoided; only water should be used for cleaning.

Prices are in U.S. dollars with no local or Federal taxes included.

All claims for quantity discrepancies, damages or lost shipments are the responsibility of the Dealer.

PAYMENT GUARANTEE

Claims for shortages will not be accepted unless made within three days of receipt of products.

All customers are required to have a valid credit card and signed Authorization Agreement for Automatic Credit Card Transactions with KASK America, Inc. on file. A 3% credit card surcharge will be added to transactions. Past due balance(s) over 15 days will be automatically charged to the credit card on file and result in the customer’s account being brought to the advanced payment terms. METHOD OF PAYMENT Check, Cashier’s Check, Money Order, Wire Transfer and Major Credit Cards (American Express, Visa, Master Card & Discover). A $35.00 fee is applied to all returned checks. If paying by check, please make the check payable to “KASK America, Inc.” DROP SHIP ORDERS KASK America, Inc. discourages regular drop-shipments, but occasional ones may be made for a service fee of $30. PRE-BOOK ORDERS KASK America, Inc. does not allow “call before ship” for pre-book orders. All pre-book orders placed with KASK America, Inc. will be shipped on the requested date. If a dealer does not accept or cancels a pre-book order without written authorization, the order will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee that will be charged to the dealer’s credit card on file. Furthermore, additional pre-book orders pending will lose all pre-book program terms.

RETURNS Products cannot be returned for credit unless authorized in writing by KASK America, Inc. Returned products are eligible for credit or replacement only (no refunds) and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. All returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization. Any orders returned and received more than 30 days after the delivery date will be eligible for replacement only, at the discretion of KASK America, Inc. Returned merchandise must be sent in its original packaging and in the same condition as when sold, including all packaging, components, accessories, manuals, and documentation. WARRANTY Six-month warranty against defects in materials and manufacturing. OPENING ORDERS MINIMUM Opening orders are subject to a minimum purchase of 12 pair of boots or 10 Noho (ankle boots) + 15 Dumbo (half chaps). OPENING ORDERS PAYMENT TERMS Opening orders of $6,500 or more will receive payment terms of 50% upfront and the remaining 50% within 30 days. New accounts with opening orders under $4,000 must be paid in full at the time of order (credit card only).

READY TO WEAR BOOTS

LEAD TIME The order lead time from its confirmation to delivery date is 7-10 business days. PAYMENT TERMS Standard payment terms are Net 30 days from the date of the invoice. Past due accounts are subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% per year) on the unpaid balance. A valid credit card must be on file in order to receive the above payment terms. KASK America, Inc. reserves the right not to ship to accounts with past due balance(s). ORDER CHANGES Changes and/or additions to orders already placed must be confirmed via email request. No verbal or telephone requests for order adjustments are accepted. DELIVERY TERMS Free ground shipping on order of 3 or more pair of boots.

CUSTOM BOOTS

LEAD TIME The standard lead time from order confirmation to delivery is 10 weeks. Rush service is available upon request for an additional charge of 30% of the total order value, reducing the lead time to 10 weeks. Please note: The production timeline begins only once the order is complete in all its parts, has been formally accepted into production, and the deposit has been fully received. PAYMENT TERMS 50% deposit at order confirmation and 50% at shipment. (All this is handled by Vogel NYC) ORDER CHANGES Changes and/or additions to orders already placed must be confirmed via email request no more than 2 days from order confirmation. No verbal or telephone requests for order adjustments are accepted. DELIVERY TERMS Ground shipping, express delivery or pick-up at the Vogel Store could be arranged with the customer. ONLINE SALES POLICY

CONSUMER SATISFACTION Consumer comfortability is a top priority for VOGEL, together with ensuring that consumers have the optimal experience in purchasing and using a VOGEL boot. To maximize consumer satisfaction, VOGEL believes that every VOGEL boot should be fitted to a consumer on a one-to-one basis between a properly trained advisor and a specific consumer. So that online consumers can experience the same level of service as in-store consumers, we suggest you display a notice before the completion of the transaction recommending that the consumer collect the boot in-store so that it can be properly checked and fitted.

The RDN number is a reference—not a tracking number— used to follow the status of your service request while your items are in our care. Please have it available when requesting an update. Please do not forget to write the RDN number outside the parcel before shipping it. All parcels without an RDN number will be automatically rejected.

SENDING US YOUR RETURN Please pack the products carefully, using the original packaging whenever possible. Include the RDN number inside the parcel. MANUFACTURING DEFECTS ON NEW PRODUCTS The warranty covers manufacturing defects on new, unworn products that may have passed quality control unnoticed. A refund may only be requested if the product has never been used, is in new condition, and is complete with all original packaging and accessories.

OUT OF WARRANTY The VOGEL warranty does not include:

• Normal wear and tear; • Damages due to negligence or accidents; • Any damages not related to manufacturing or material defects;

• Product deterioration due to purchasing the wrong size or improper fitting (e.g., if the boot creases or tears due to incorrect sizing); The VOGEL warranty is no longer valid if:
