FÁILTE Fáilte romhaibh ar fad go dtí an t-aonú leagan déag Savour Kilkenny. It’s hard to believe we are counting down to our 11th Savour Kilkenny! From a small festival showcasing the work of innovative local artisan producers, we have now grown to over 100 events and 100 stallholders with demonstrations by some of Ireland’s best known and much loved chefs. Savour Kilkenny is still, after all these years, a festival of firsts. This year we are very excited to bring fashion and sushi together with Taste of Japan at the National Craft Gallery; host our first wooden spoon making class; open our Medieval Food and Craft Village; enjoy a Highbank Orchards Gin Masterclass and chat with the inspirational Anna May McHugh, a Mushroom Hunt, School of Food Market Garden, food meets science with ‘Foodoppi’ for younger fans, and lot’s more. This year’s festival is expanding. We will now feature two chef demo areas, as well as The Global Kitchen, a unique addition to the demo offerings, all taking place on The Parade, along with our largest Craft Brewers and Distillers Pavilion. The festival will also have events at Kilkenny Castle, Rothe House, the new Medieval Mile Museum, and finale festivities will be held in Thomastown on Monday, October 30th. Thank you to all our sponsors, participants, stallholders and, of course, to you for making our festival even better each year! Is mise,
