Nowadays, cities are a hotbed of innovation, and individual districts are increasingly becoming more competitive due to their genius loci and uniqueness on a city scale. The ability to identify and implement unique strategies at the local level is new and will become a key challenge for municipal governments in the future. Such an impulse has many influences and contributes in particular to increasing the value of the district. This creates new jobs that generate continuous development of urban functions around them. Environmental issues, which are more and more deeply rooted in the needs and beliefs of residents, are also becoming increasingly important. Also the number of introduced innovations and intelligent solutions testify to the pursuit of a sustainable development model.
